„The place was beautifully appointed and very clean. Somehow we had missed the information that bathroom facilities were shared spaces down the hall from our room, which was a little inconvenient. But these shared spaces were beautiful and clean.“

„The joke around the campfire was, "Can you hear that?" And the answer was always, "No." And my response was, "Right." Cannot believe how quiet it was which is great when looking at all those stars and planets. Can't wait to go back.“

„Best choice for the area! Easy check in & out. Dislikes are rude breakfast staff, one handful of ice in bin for all residents, distracting blue lit logo on top of mountain, the sky loungers are covered by an awning blocking the north sky view for stars, the blinds in room 4 are not long enough to give full coverage and privacy and you can see guests walking outside and they can see you, the gravel is very uncomfortable to walk on with luggage, resident cat is a nuisance. I wouldn't stay ...

„Staying in Mimi's Guestroom was one of the very BEST decisions I made when planning my Far West Texas trip with friends. In fact, it was my my favorite overnight stay of my entire 10-day trip. What made it so was because it was completely comfortable, authentic, classy, and unassumingly cool. „Ten Bits was a really neat place. Felt like walking into an old western movie but having all the modern amenities. Comfortable room with unbelievable views from the back porch. Sis was very responsive. Loved having access to a nice kitchen and dining area, although need an update on some pans. 10 minutes from Terlingua and about a 45-60 minute drive to the main part of Beg Bend park but easy, beautiful drive. Great place for group vacations. Don’t go during the summer. “

„Quaint cabins in a remote part of Texas. Might be a little challenging to find during the day, but damn near impossible to find at night, despite the elaborate instructions sent. They desperately need a LIGHTED sign. Had to call them to get the door access code. The no potable water threw me at first, but they provided bottled water, so it really wasn't an issue. “

„Super gemütliche und ausgefallene urwüchsige Unterkunft, die passend zum Thema eingerichtet war. Alles war sehr sauber (auch die Gemeinschaftsräume, wie die Küche). Wer was ausgefallenes sucht, dem ist dies zu empfehlen. Für den Weg dorthin, ist ein 4-Wheel-Drive-Car mit ein wenig Bodenfreiheit nicht schlecht.“

„Overall, we had a really nice stay! The room was big. The bed was comfortable. The general grounds were really neat. We enjoyed walking around and looking at the other rooms. There were some rather loud guests hanging out on their porch many rooms away which was a little annoying but the rooms itself were pretty soundproof/quiet. You couldn’t really hear noise from other rooms/outside when you were in your room. We had two small issues. One, the towels were wet when we checked in and had hairs ...

gutes Hotel mit ein paar Einschränkungen

"Das Hotel macht einen guten Eindruck; wir hatten eines der neu renovierten Zimmer, das auf den ersten Blick sehr schön war. Allerdings gab es einige Einschränkungen, wie z.B. dass der Kühlschrank nicht richtig funktioniert hat, die Waschbecken-Armatur wackelt, und der Verdunkelungsvorhang nicht richtig schließt (störend, da vor dem Fenster die ganze Nacht eine helle Lampe gebrannt hat). Man hatte den Eindruck, dass bei der Renovierung bzw. Abnahme nicht so gut gearbeitet wurde. Davon abgesehen, fanden wir den Aufenthalt schön, insbesondere die Pool-Anlage. "

Gute Lage

"Das Hotel und die Lage waren ok. Das Bett für mich etwas zu weich aber das ist ja eigenes Empfinden. Wir hatten ein barrierefreies Zimmer das war natürlich entsprechend gross. Frühstück war typisch. Kaffee 24h aus dem Automaten immer frisch. WiFi war schnell."
