„There was an electricity cut for two hours. The management decided to send the whole kitchen staff home, although at 6pm power came back. That left us with no warm meal in the evening in the middle of nowhere. Worst thing : not even the kitchen manager stayed to give an explanation. „Pleasantly surprised by this recently renovated pub accommodation, which is an absolute bargain. Definitely five stars in context. Comfortable beds and pillows, quality toiletries and clean bathrooms. We were apprehensive about shared bathrooms but with just seven rooms we didn't encounter fellow guests over the two nights we stayed. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again as the location is perfect!“

„The cottage was very clean and beds were very comfortable. It had good heating and the spa was lovely. Breakfast was provided but we did stay 2 nights and felt that the provisions were only for 1 night especially when 4 people booked. We used the resturant and the meal was generous and nice. „Stayed in whats called here a "budget cabin" but this cottage is - beside of the rate charged for one night ( AUD 110) not only a basic one: well eqipped , clean and in a very good condition. The park itself is around 3 Km outside Healesville on the road to Badgers creek and not far from the sanctuary. The only negative point (these times...): no WiFi coverage.“

„We arrived late so only saw the property the next morning before we left. What we saw looked great. Check in was easy especially as it was dark. Communication with the host was great. Facilities were great, especially the huge shower head. The only thing I would have liked were more kitchen facilities eg a toaster and bowls. „Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned.
