„Our overall stay was good, we had great weather, and the top of the boat house was amazing with the views of the lake. When we first entered the home, it smelled very stale like the windows have not been open in months. We found a candle and opened the windows before the rest of the guests came. „Nice place, had a good time, one drawback is it is right on rt 28 so there is the traffic noise at night when having a fire. We were told to put the linens and towels in separate bags after our stay but there were no big bags, only the small kitchen garbage ones. „This was the second time my spouse and I have stayed at this wonderful property! Carol and Dan are the best hosts ever ! Anything we needed was already in the cottage ,even games, puzzles and movies if your not outside enjoying the fire and beautiful pond ! „I rented this classic Adirondack home so my mother could spend time under one roof with her six grandchildren. The interior is classic Adirondack style and fit all of us comfortably. The location is great - a couple minute drive into the quaint town of Inlet and 15 minutes from Old Forge where we went to Water Safari. While visiting we had buck and baby black bear sightings. I’d highly recommend this home for a stay up in the Adirondacks. “
