„Von Aussen nett, Innen eine Katastrophe. Altes abgewohntes Mobiliar, der Teppich klebrig. Alles ist renovierungsbedürftig, Schranktüren defekt, überall sieht es aus, als wenn versucht wurde was notdürftig zu renovieren. Und es mufft moderig. Definitiv nix zum Wohlfühlen. Der Empfang war dafür aber nett und herzlich. Parkplatz und Frühstück waren inklusive. Klassisches amerikanisches Continental mit einer warmen Eierspeise.“

„Very cute ranch in a lovely neighborhood. Good location for access to area sites like Hammonasset Beach, Chamard Vineyard, and the Water's Edge. Not truly a "water's view", but the house had all the amenities needed for a fun stay! “

„Our family ranged in ages from 13 to 96. We were 12 people for a couple days and then 10. We all had a marvelous time and my mom just can’t stop talking about how beautiful the view and the antique furniture was. It was difficult for that many people only having two bathrooms, but we made it work. We did run out of hot water so we learned to scatter showers when possible. „Our second stay at the cottage. We spent a long weekend and the weather cooperated. The house is quite quirky, but has a really pleasant feel at home vibe. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen could use some updates, but was sufficient. (still need a new can opener) The porch overlooking the Sound is magical. Nice neighborhood. If you have one...bring a golf cart! Gutes Hotel mit gewissen Abstrichen

"Für eine Gruppe von 6 Personen hat man uns zwei große Zimmer nebeneinander mit Verbindungstür gegeben, sehr schön! Die Zimmerausstattung geht in Ordnung, wobei die Duschwanne vielleicht nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß ist, ebenso wie der Umstand, dass man teilweise länger warten muss, bis das Wasser warm ist. Beim Service muss man hingegen Abstriche machen, eine reguläre Zimmereinigung lässt sich das Hotel tatsächlich extra bezahlen, ansonsten erhält man nur eine "Basic"-Sevice. Den Bewertungen nach zu urteilen gab es früher wohl mal Frühstück, mittlerweile allerdings nicht mehr. Warum Parken im angrenzenden Parkhaus für Hotelbesucher teurer ist als für alle anderen Kunden haben wir auch nicht nachvollziehen können. "
