„Von Aussen nett, Innen eine Katastrophe. Altes abgewohntes Mobiliar, der Teppich klebrig. Alles ist renovierungsbedürftig, Schranktüren defekt, überall sieht es aus, als wenn versucht wurde was notdürftig zu renovieren. Und es mufft moderig. Definitiv nix zum Wohlfühlen. Der Empfang war dafür aber nett und herzlich. Parkplatz und Frühstück waren inklusive. Klassisches amerikanisches Continental mit einer warmen Eierspeise.“

„It is certainly a cabin in the quiet woods which you would normally find in northern Vermont. We loved everything about it. My Three Sons grew up tent camping in the Yale Forest and this was that, only with a log cabin replacing Eureka tents! We loved sitting around the massive firepit and feeding the flames with plenty of seasoned, dry hardwood, cooking several meals on the coals with pie irons and steak prongs. Just loved it. “

„Donna is a wonderful attentive host. We felt very welcomed in Donna’s home. It was a wonderful location for a mother daughter get away. “

„My husband and I both loved this property and it’s convenient location; so much that we even discussed purchasing one of the apartments as a condo! We ran a bit over checkout and the property manager was very communicative and accommodating. A wonderfully quaint, quiet, and walkable location with great food options in close proximity to prominent institutions. Definitely will stay again. “

„our annual girls (5) trip took us to Branford, CT this year. It was awesome to have a private beach access even though we couldn’t get in the water, but it was great for strolls and shell collecting. Would definitely do better with a second bathroom, but we managed just fine. Overall, it’s a nice little place to stay for a getaway. My only issue is not with the hosts or place, but with one of the fees and the checkout process. However, it does not take away from our stay. “

„Lovely, spacious and clean. We spent our Christmas holiday together with our family and the house was spacious and spotless. We had 5 adults with 2 small children in house. We hosted Christmas dinner for us and local family. Great space. Would love to rent in summer months to utilize outdoor space“

„Our family ranged in ages from 13 to 96. We were 12 people for a couple days and then 10. We all had a marvelous time and my mom just can’t stop talking about how beautiful the view and the antique furniture was. It was difficult for that many people only having two bathrooms, but we made it work. We did run out of hot water so we learned to scatter showers when possible. „The Arts and Crafts home was more beautiful than the pictures reflected! We loved all of the details in the woodwork, hidden little corners, tons of space to spread out and wonderful places to gather together. Having recently sold our "family home" we were thrilled to find this home in which to have a mini- family reunion. Gutes Hotel mit gewissen Abstrichen

"Für eine Gruppe von 6 Personen hat man uns zwei große Zimmer nebeneinander mit Verbindungstür gegeben, sehr schön! Die Zimmerausstattung geht in Ordnung, wobei die Duschwanne vielleicht nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß ist, ebenso wie der Umstand, dass man teilweise länger warten muss, bis das Wasser warm ist. Beim Service muss man hingegen Abstriche machen, eine reguläre Zimmereinigung lässt sich das Hotel tatsächlich extra bezahlen, ansonsten erhält man nur eine "Basic"-Sevice. Den Bewertungen nach zu urteilen gab es früher wohl mal Frühstück, mittlerweile allerdings nicht mehr. Warum Parken im angrenzenden Parkhaus für Hotelbesucher teurer ist als für alle anderen Kunden haben wir auch nicht nachvollziehen können. "
