„From the approach of the property we were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the lush landscape and the clean modern aesthetic. The gated entry welcomes you to an eclectic desert scape, patio with seating area and BBQ. Just beyond is the gated backyard with swimming pool adorned by fruit trees and ample seating/lounging areas.Once inside the unit we were welcomed with period appropriate interior design, art work and finishes. Staying here is like vacationing in a Josh Agle ("SHAG") lounge ...

„Love this place, quiet and quaint. Loved all of the retro signs hanging around the property and lovely places to hang out and relax.“

„My husband, two teenagers, and I really enjoyed staying in this Joshua Tree home. It's new, spotless and nicely decorated without being cluttered. The beds were very comfortable. My son slept on the pull-out couch, which he said was comfortable too. It's a great place to stay when visiting the National Park. Easy keypad entry and lock. We didn't use the firepit but enjoyed the backyard hot tub and outdoor seating areas. “

„Casa Altura and Eddie are definitely an oasis of peace. Eddie made sure EVERY detail was perfect and easy. He offered any and all assistance needed quickly and efficiently; hikes, restaurants, sights, the full package. The star gazing is prime, the hot tub perfect for the gazing and the views, location are top of the line! Thank you Eddie for such attention to detail!“

„This house was exactly as described. It's minimalistic, but does the job. Only thing I noticed was the bathroom floor was not particularly clean, otherwise, it was great. Also note, there is no washer and dryer. It was not listed and I hadn't looked, but I ended up needing it while I was there and was just surprised a house this size didn't have one. Not the hosts fault, my assumption!“

„The home was very clean and stocked with a few essential items, and a large, fully enclosed backyard that our dogs really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't good enough to enjoy the beautiful pool and spa. We will definitely stay there again simetime in tbe future.“

„We were very pleased with our stay in Joshua Tree. Rose is a fantastic host and very responsive. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the hot tub under the stars was amazing. We will be back.“

„We stayed to celebrate my wife’s birthday with our two kids and my in laws.Very clean kitchen with enough kitchenware that’s easy to find to enjoy nice family meals.The three bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds for 6 of us. Our 125 pound dog had plenty of room to roam in the fenced backyard. The jacuzzi was so nice to relax in after a day of hiking and climbing in Joshua Tree.My 12 year old son really enjoyed the game room! He also enjoyed the retro art in the kids’ bedroom.Neeraj ...

„My family and I really enjoyed our stay! We were in town for the weekend, and it was a wonderful opportunity for all of us to stay together. The house was clean and inviting, and the pool was a perfect entertainment focal point, especially for the kiddos, and the lake offered a beautiful backdrop for some peaceful R&R. Thanks for the hospitality! “

"The hotel looks significantly worse than in the pictures provided. There was a strange smell in the room and suspicious stains, and the floor looked like it had never been cleaned. The bed was uncomfortable and caused back pain. At night, it was extremely noisy due to some kind of machinery from the hotel, and in the morning we were woken up by a DJ. The staff and management were very unaccommodating."
