„The date of my stay was Sun Feb 9 - Tues Feb 11, 2025. It was a great place to stay with beautiful views. Our stay was short. We were there for my son to participate in WASI- Wintergreen Alpine Special Invitational. Travel to the Mountain Inn for ski competition and celebration was easy. I really enjoyed having the full kitchen so we could make breakfast each day. The washer and dryer were helpful for keeping ski bibs clean and dry.“

„The home and location were great. Piney River is steps from the back door. George Washington National Forest surrounds the area with lots of opportunities to explore. The house was perfect. Well equipped kitchen and super comfortable. “

„We have stayed here twice in the last two months. Both rooms were immaculately clean! Front office staff was pleasant and accommodating both times (It was the same woman both times...I just can't remember her name. ) If you are going to stay here, you so need to bring a hair dryer, conditioner (shampoo is provided), creamer( if you don't like French vanilla)“

„This was our 5th stay at Dave and Susan's cabin; I'm not sure what more to say! It's consistently absolutely wonderful. We've never had issues with anything, ever. Consistently clean, fresh flowers, snacks, all the kitchen appliances and pans you'd need, toiletries, etc. Beds and furniture are comfortable and the linens are luxurious. Host communication is highly accessible but not over the top. Just hands down a fantastic place to stay, every single time.“

„This is the second time we've stayed in this condo, and it's consistently been clean, and well stocked. The view is amazing, unit is renovated full of amenities. Also highly recommend going across the street to Fire and Frost Pizza, great pizza. “

„The house is so nice, and area is gorgeous. We do an annual girls trip, and this was perfect for us. Walking distance to a store was nice as well. The owners were only a text away if we needed anything, but we didn't. Highlyrecommend. “

„We loved our experience at Murphy's Place! We came up here for a Birthday/Valentine's Day weekend vacation, and we stayed busy the whole time! There is so much to do around the VRBO. Lots of wineries, breweries, shopping, and more!!! Charlottesville is a quick 20 mins away or so and Wintergreen Resort is about the same, but the opposite direction. We cannot wait to stay here again in the near future!! Big thanks to the hosts for making us feel comfortable and at home! “

„Wow! Upon pulling up we were amazed with the location but as soon as we entered the front door, it was absolutely stunning! The cabin itself is SO CLEAN!!! We enjoyed sitting out on the large deck enjoying the view. There is a walking path that is cleared that we enjoyed as well! The host John was wonderful and we will definitely be back!! If I could give more STARS I would!“
