Soak up stunning ocean views and calm coastal vibes at this wonderful Oceanside retreat, they are truly spectacular any time of the year. Once descending down one set of stairs from the parking level, the entire unit is on a single level. The inside has all new décor and updates making it a perfect blend of coastal style and comfort.

The culinary-inclined guests will look forward to whipping up everything from a hearty breakfast to a gourmet dinner in the full kitchen, as the views are absolutely breathtaking and all of the major appliances are more than ready to assist in any recipe. The open floor plan allows for living, dining, and kitchen all together. The four person dining table is perfect for enjoy games, drinks, or a meal together while taking in the incredible views beyond.

When it is time to hit the hay, both bedrooms are located towards the back of the property and are perfect for some rest and recuperation before venturing out again to see and explore all the Oregon Coast has to offer.

**Important Information** There are three units as part of this building. Two (including this one) are on the lower floor. The other on the base floor is a one bedroom unit. The top two floors are a four bedroom unit that is rentable as well. The patio is also accessible by the one bedroom unit on the same level. It is possible those guests may be enjoying the space.

PET FRIENDLY: *There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Please be aware failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. *

Really enjoyed our stay at this unit in Oceanside with a truly spectacular ocean view. Beds were comfortable, unit was clean. Short drive to beach parking and a couple restaurants.

We love Oceanside
We have stayed in Oceanside many times over the last few years, but never here. Not a lot of options during the peak season, but we gave it a try. Most everything was ok, the view was worth it! This house has great picture windows. However, the parking was really bad-spots are so small and are standard SUV didn’t fit, especially with bikes on the back. We also couldnt park there because it’s a shared unit and the other party was huge and had way too many cars. They used our spaces. We called and emailed and texted about where to park, but didn’t hear back until the following day. It was pretty frustrating. The reception is not good, so that was part of the trouble, but wondering if we were going to get towed was a little annoying! Some weird updates were unfortunate-the bathroom had a peel and stick type of wallpaper that was coming off the walls?! Kinda crazy. And a pretty bad paint job trying to cover up previous paint I think. We loved the open room with the view, and the beds and furniture were all nice as well. Kitchen is not well stocked, so we had to get whatever we needed for basic meals. The listing wasn’t clear on the attached units either-but we had people above us with about five kids under five and a grandma and a few adult children? It was extremely loud to be underneath them. Lots of noise through the floor. We didn’t realize this upon renting, otherwise we probably wouldn’t have. It’s just too loud to be below. Anyway, we love Oceanside-just not our top pick.

Fairly nice recent remodel. Furniture layout and space is not optimized including 2nd bedroom bed blocks door from closing, you’ll need to shove the bed over to an angle to close door. Sofa is not very usable for more than 1 person to watch tv/moviesBeds are fairly nice. Parking is tight but acceptable. Bathroom could use a shelf for toiletries. Views are great. Privacy is a bit of an issue if you plan to spend time on deck. Luckily our neighbors weren’t out on the side at all. Upstairs neighbors can be heard a lot through the floor/ceiling. Our first neighbors were fairly quiet, then came the family with uncontrolled kids running, stomping, and who knows what else. Was a huge test of patience. However I did read this in the reviews. It’s a gamble who your neighbors will be regarding the noise and communal downstairs deck. Overall great trip, great location, great views, clean, with newer remodel. Would likely look for another space for my family of 4 next time or stay upstairs.

Nice location, cozy space, misleading listing.
Overall it was a nice location, and a cute space. The listing is misleading. You have the unit to yourself, however the walls are thin which makes it easy to hear the neighbors. We were able to hear them snoring. The listing is also misleading as it makes it seem like you will have access to a private porch and a hot tub. The hot tub is not for your use, and the porch is shared. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay, just be sure to read the fine print details.

Absolutely beautiful views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oceanside. The ocean views were amazing. The place could use a bit of work, tightening up the kitchen faucet, replacing missing strips of wallpaper, closet doors needing lubrications, the bathroom fan is terribly noisy and an empty soap dispenser in the shower. The photo sent for parking instructions was too blurry to read. There was limited insulation/sound barrier between the upstairs and downstairs unit. Thankfully the upstairs unit was not occupied for most of our stay. The town of Oceanside is a great getaway from the chaos of ordinary life. Would love to visit again.

We have been coming to Oceanside for several years. This was the first time staying at the Vista House. We rented the lower two bedroom unit. The new owners have put a ton of work and $$$ renovating. The unit was very clean, kitchen was well stocked and the view was incredible. Having a clean, well maintained yard for my pup was the "icing on the cake."

Made due, but I'll skip next time. Supposed to have 2 parking spots per their own notebook, but had to give one up for a guest in another unit. Unit is very stuffy and hot with the windows closed, so we opened them - unfortunately that means you can smell the cigarettes from the guest next door. Screens missing from some windows, too. Master bedroom mattress is passed its due date. The toilet is crammed into the corner of a small bathroom... It isn't made for people 6'.

Being on the bottom level, you can really hear the upstair occupants move around - especially as the unit is directly below the kitchen. The furniture is great, with the exception of the beds - they both need to be replaced. The queen was very hard and bumpy and the king is worn down and concave. The view is AMAZING and the windows were clean. There were a couple of windows that are missing screens. I like the text communication from the property manager, they were very responsive.

Quiet Getaway
The apartment is clean and beautifully decorated. There were plenty of pans, plates, etc for cooking our own meals. The view of the ocean is stunning. The walk to the beach is a pretty steep hill, but not far at all. We absolutely loved our stay. Another review mentioned the large windows - by the time we stayed here they had installed nice blinds so you can block the sun or neighbors. We had no issues at all and kept them open most of the time so we could watch the ocean. Be aware that there's no cell service here, at least for us, but the wifi was great. The beach is quieter and more peaceful than the more popular ones and we enjoyed the stillness. We would definitely stay again!

The Fish Bowl
When my husband and I arrived at the front door, we were greeted by the other resident of the 3 unit property. She explained she would be on her patio watching the sunset. When we entered Our unit, we noticed her patio had a direct view into our living room from a large window facing her patio. Unfortunately, there were no window coverings so we had zero privacy. Her and her partner made multiple trips out to the patio over the 3 day stay so we felt continually ‘watched.’ I found a curtain hidden away in a closet, so my husband was able to rig this over the window for privacy… which didn’t help at all as the curtain was sheer and see-through. We tried to gently establish a boundary that we would prefer not to have voyeurs. Unfortunately, the ‘hint’ of privacy was rejected as our ‘audience’ continued to check us out from their patio. Interesting also that the other 2 units of this property had window coverings/blinds on their units, however our unit had none, with the exception of the sheer curtains in the two bedrooms. Although the unit was beautifully decorated, it was unbearably hot to stay in there in the afternoons as the sun blasted through our windows since we had no shades/blinds, or curtains. I’d rate this property as 5 stars for anyone who considers themselves to be exhibitionists or enjoy sitting in a sauna for several hours. My husband and I have stayed in at least a dozen VRBO properties over the past year, and no issues with any other property. We were happy to leave the Alfred Hitchcock set.

Oceanside is a small treasure
This is a nice apartment but several details would make me think twice about renting the same place again. The view was as pictured but the living room & both bedrooms are very small. It’s hard to picture four adults staying there comfortably. When I called to ask questions about how far the beach was the manager never answered. The place is alternately listed as Tillamook which is 7 miles away. It turned out to be a five minute walk from the beach. An insect invasion was taken care of within hours after I called however. Overall a nice place though a fireplace and tub would have been nice additions given the price.
