POOR COMMUNICATION AND MANA. I received the gate code to enter the property but not the door code to the house. My first thought of the home was that it is in bad need of updating. It is definitely not handicap accessible. As I walked around the property, the pool is dirty with leaves and pine needles. The home temperature was warm and the thermostat cannot be set any cooler than 72 degrees. Immediately I noticed the WiFi was not working and I contacted Deanna the host. She began making excuses and makes up numerous excuses including a storm that came through a few days ago and then it changed to it being a loose wire inside the house. I checked the routers and connections because I thought it may be a simple fix. While I’m on the phone with her she asks me to grab a ladder out of the garage and climb on the cabinet and check the connections. At this point I’m upset and asked her if she had checked out the house prior to having guests to ensure it was ready. She never answered the question. At that point she asked me to call Xfinity to troubleshoot with them. I told her I did not go on a family weekend to be on the phone with Xfinity when I should be relaxing with my family. She got an attitude and said she would send someone out to fix the issue within the hour. Over 2 hours later a nice guy shows up and says he’s there to check out the WiFi. He says he doesn’t know what he’s looking for but he’s doing Deanna a favor. No wifi all weekend.
