„We went to the Royal Sunset with 6 of our Tongan young friends who help us at a humanitarian clinic we work in. We are leaving Tonga and wanted to thank them for all they do. We decided to spend the night at the Royal Sunset. The rooms were filthy. The linens were stained and the rooms were unbearably hot. The pool water was brown. Of the 3 kayaks that were available for use, 2 took on water as soon as you pulled them into the ocean. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our lunch and we were ...

„Staff really went out of their way to make guests happy. Nothing was too difficult. The property suited my needs very well; comfortable, plenty of space to relax, homely, safe and clean with staff on-hand to assist if required. I'd stay there again.“

„On our honeymoon we stayed twice at the Scenic in order to be close to the airport on the day of departure. The hotel shuttle takes you to the terminals in less than 5 minutes. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms were practical, clean and in good condition. Pool was too dirty to use.“

„Das Vakaloa Beach Resort befindet sich an einem der besseren Strände von Tongatapu. Für 30 TOP kann man mit dem Taxi von Nukualofa dorthin gelangen. Die Besitzerin (halbdeutsch) und ihr aus Tonga stammender Australier sind äussert hilfsbereit und großzügig. Fahrräder werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Mittwochs und Freitags findet eine große Show mit Buffet statt. Das sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.“
