Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff and good location in Taipei. The rooms look way better in real than they already do on the photos. I had a very cosy room and a very nice bathroom. The location is very practical and you have a metro station in 20 meter distance and easy access to taxis. The hotel is located at a big shopping street that kind of reminds of Tokyo a little bit and has a nice park site in walking distance. You can also reach many locations like some of the famous night markets by feet. Never the less it was a very quiet hotel and I would definitively go there again! One thing... If you go to Shifen Old Street and the Waterfall, make sure that you go early. The Waterfall platform closes at 16:30 and you will not be able to see it afterwards.

Our stay at this hotel was most likely the best during our 4 week holiday in Taiwan. The hotel is not located in the traditional center of Taipei but we loved the neighbourhood and found it had lots to offer (food stalls, restaurants, fish market...). The hotel itself is very new and the room was our favourite. Its size was perfectly sufficient for two people with large suitcases and we enjoyed the comfy bed and the street view. Coffee can be had at all times and the lounge area is very inviting. The personnel was genuinely friendly and helped us wherever needed. All in all, were we to stay in Taipei again, we would choose this hotel.

The hotel is not very big and seems to be in a rather old building. The elevator has a few stairs in front, so it's not accessible for wheelchairs. The rooms are very clean and in good condition. The only downside might be that there's no walk-in shower but only a bathtub with curtain. Room size is not very big but good by Taipei standards. Breakfast is served in a small restaurant room with limited choices. It wasn't a problem though as they always has enough choices for us and quality was very good. On the top floor (only accessible by stairs from the restaurant) they offer a small gym and a laundry room. It looks a bit improvised but works well. Detergent is sold at the reception. The main reason for the maximum rating though is the staff. They are all super nice, helpful and make you feel absolutely welcome. Reception staff always remember us and made sure everything is alright, and in the breakfast restaurant it rather felt like family. We absolutely loved it and are looking forward to staying in this hotel again.
