First, Akash, our host is trying. He's a very nice young man, with a day job so requests are answered at the end of the day. The place has potential but needs work.
Now for the details. As it says, comfortable - maybe, homely - definitely. What's there, space; what's missing... well let's see (BTW we communicated all of this to Akash)
+ temperature control, no thermostat. We had to text to get temp changed.
+ no coffee mugs, no cutting board, no knives, no cooking utensils - well there's a fork, a laddle and a pasta thingy, no bake ware, no oven mitts, no dish rack or dish towels, no hand towels, no facecloths.
+ no toaster/toaster oven
+ no ice maker or ice cube trays
+ two beds, one set of sheets.
+ a bed side table would be nice
+ no broom, dustpan - we had to request one.
+ the electric panel is in the apartment, so they have to come in to reset the breaker.
+ no rugs, no window treatment
+ parking was a struggle
+ no towel bars or hooks in the bathroom
+ no sitting area, no TV
+ and their dogs (upstairs) run and bark
We purchased extra towels and dish towels for ourselves.
So, no it was not great. We were hoping to cook a few meals, I mean why rent an apartment right, but we had to eat out every night. And it rained every day so the little gravel path to the entrance at the back of the house was muddy - no broom, remember.
It was to say the least, disappointing. I looked and couldn't find something convenient on short notice.
Travelers, be warned.
