„Hard to find any fault with our really enjoyable stay, the country environment & location is lovely. Very warm welcome to our cosy comfortable & well presented accommodation. The breakfast & coffee at The Foxes Den was superb & can see why it’s also popular with locals. Would definitely stay again. “

„A bit outdated hotel, however for 2-3 nights is ok. Some rooms need to be renovated as they are outdated. I had a superior room which was not renovated, therefore a bit disappointing. Breakfast is classic for UK, nothing particular, tasty. Overall, clean and ok.“

„Clean and well kept in a great location - staff excellent friendly and efficient - lively and busy bank holiday week end. Some good local beers (Nethergate) Just a suggestion - car park could benefit from in/out signs - there seems to be an accepted entrance but someone came in in the other way which led to a lot of reversing to resolve. Pleasant stay - would use again. “

„Past it sell by date and in need of real attention. Plus poor bar service due to lack of staff. Frankly over priced which is such a pity. Tissue box by bed contained one folded tissue yes just the one! “

„Hotel im Design und in der Ausstattung sehr ansprechend. Gute Anbindung zum Bahnhof. Leider sehr hellhörig, insbesondere die Bässe aus dem Restaurantbereich dringen bis in die NachtStunden in die Zimmer. Personal meinte, es sei ein bekanntes Problem.“

„Great location on the harbour. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Limited parking which is chargeable if not booking direct. 15 minute walk to town centre. We didn’t use the restaurant but looked nice with locally sourced goods. “

„Gute Lage - zu Fuß leicht in die Innenstadt. Parkplatz problemlos vor dem Haus. Zimmer im 3. Stock werden während der Woche lautstark renoviert und unser Zimmer lag genau in diese Etage !!!!!!“
