Take it easy at our unique and tranquil getaway. Our cozy 1 Bedroom Cabin with a Loft has gorgeous views of Canyon Ferry Lake and the Big Belt Mountains as well as the Elkhorn Mountains. Escape to the lake for the day and then sit out at the fire pit at night under the stars. If you are lucky you will see antelope roaming thru the property. We are centrally located between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks and 30 minutes to Helena and 75 minutes to Bozeman and 10 minutes to Townsend. We are about 2 miles to the lake and we have a pull thru driveway with plenty of parking for your boat or ATV’s.
The 1 Bedroom has a Queen Bed and a wardrobe and luggage rack but no TV. The loft space which is accessed with a loft ladder has 2 twin beds, a tv with Roku and 2 bean bag chairs. The sofa makes out to a full size bed and the tv in the living room has Roku. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo and also includes a full size washer and dryer.
The kitchen is equipped with a mini fridge with a separate freezer, and almost every type cooking appliance you can think of since there is no stove. We also have a fully equipped coffee, tea and hot cocoa bar!!
Outside we have a 6' by 14' covered porch with a Bisto set or we a large picnic table in the yard so that you enjoy your meals outside and admire the amazing views. Also if you prefer to grill outside, we have provided a propane grill. After dinner you can sit by the fire pit under the stars. If you want to play games outside we have corn hole, yard Yahtzee and frackle. We also provide a small area for your pets with artificial turf as there is small cactus on the property to be aware of if you let your dogs roam. PETS MUST BE ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES AND NEVER LEFT UNATTENDED.
We live on another part of the property and are available if you NEED anything. We also have a security camera facing the driveway.
There us a neighbor across the way that built a private tatget shooting range in his property for his family to use so there is a chance you could here them target shooting. There is a freight train track about 1/2 mile behind the property but since we are not near a crossing they rarely blow their horns, we have provided white noise machines as well as ear plugs for light sleepers.
The cabin does have a metal roof so you might hear wind and rain and it popping in the morning as it warms up after a cold night.
We are about 1 mile up a gravel/dirt road that can become wash boardy at times.
