„More than happy with the service but we felt let down by the standard of the hotel for the price paid. Heating seems to be an issue as the common rooms were all cold - and we were not the only ones that noticed. There is no raging fire as described in the website - it is fake fire with steam to help your imagination. The sea view is of a garden bush with a glimpse of the water. Next time we would stay somewhere else and only stop by for a meal which we did however enjoy. The views from the ...

„This was a charming but rustic property. I expected that, as I read the age of the hotel. Tub/shower was a bit rickety, but clean. The rooms are heated with radiators that are on timers...you cannot control the temp yourself. Food at their restaurant was great. The place just needs a bit of TLC.“

„We stayed in ‘The Bothy’ at Artun. Mrs Cameron met us and made us feel welcome. The position of the Bothy was good for us as it was close to the loch and we saw an otter. We enjoyed the peaceful setting. Thank you.“

„Good location looking straight down to the sea loch…otters close by though we failed to see them. The local walk along the b road is lovely….looking towards The Wilderness. Mrs Campbell is a real character…gets very heated if you leave the gate open, but otherwise very chatty and amiable.“
