The hiring of our vacation home (Gîte) is always accompanied by a tating of our Champagnes, and if desired we can arrande a visit in our winemaking facilities (Press and cellars). You can find all information concerning our Champagnes on the following internet link : http://vitiplus.com/couvent-fils/.
Our vacation home (Gite) is a recently renovated very beautiful old house, nearby our facilities.
It is situated in a very quiet surronding of our village , although it is near to the village centre.The house has a terrace of 30 m2 and has privat garden of approximately 150 m2, separated from our garden by a small hedge.
Descriptive : - First floor: Income hall, integrated kichen with large dining table, salon and WC
- Second floor: one bedroom with double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with shower, wash-stand and WC
- Third floor: one bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with shower, wash-stand and WC

Wonderful stay in peaceful location
We had a wonderful time, Sylvie was very nice and helpful. The house had everything we needed, comfortable bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and relaxing sitting area. Unfortunately due to the weather we did not make use of the outdoor space but that area also looked lovely. Hopefully we will be back again to explore more of the area.

Pleasant, quiet, peaceful
A very pleasant stay. Sylvie was friendly and we greatly appreciated the tour of her facilities. The garden was private and well designed; interior bedrooms were stylish and the 'gite' is clean and homely. The locale was extremely quiet but I think that at this time of year many French people go on holiday so perhaps even quieter than usual. The location allows you to explore Dormans and Chateau-Thierry, which are well worth a visit. From Chateau-Thierry we managed to fit in two day-trips to Paris which were fab. Ask for a group discount if there are 5-9 of you. Grand Frais (supermarket) in Chateau-Thierry was a revelation; best supermarket (for quality food) we've ever experienced.

Heart of champagne country
Lovely house with secluded garden and good outdoor dining. We ate all meals outside. Especially enjoyed our trip round the winery and sampling the champagne. Very good quality and of course we brought some home to enjoy and remember. After a busy time in Disneyland Paris it was a lovely place to relax.

A week off
We very much enjoyed our week here. The house has three bedrooms, with six proper beds, two bathrooms and a third loo on the ground floor. So lots of space. Garden was most pleasant and felt very private. The front door opens into a courtyard with some nice neighbours who were away to work long before we emerged each day. Sylvie was very kind and helpful and her champagne winery tour was a highlight. Plenty of opportunity to stroll down to the river of an evening and lots to see in the local area. The views from the top of the monument in dormans are worth the effort. Very glad we stayed.

One of the best Champaign growers in the region besides being a fantastic host.
The home was spectacular! Very clean and it had everything we could possibly need. She even provided us a welcome bottle of their delicious champagne. We loved the champagne so much that we purchased 5 bottles to bring home with us. We would have bought more but we were over our weight limit. I'm counting down the days to our return.

Sylvie & Gerard were very gracious hosts! They have a lovely cottage (gite) in a rural French community so if you stay there you will appreciate having a car to get to Epernay or Reims. There are a few champagne houses in this town but you will need to drive if you want to see more. Sylvie gave us a tour of their press, cellar and vinyard. She started our stay off with a bottle of champagne from their cellar. Sylvie is a gardener and one she day brought us some fresh vegetables to go with dinner. The kitchen has all of the equipment that you will need to prepare meals. The home has a lovely patio for quiet evenings or morning coffee. I highly recommend this property and the hosts

A happy home from which to explore the country-side
Not only is the countryside in Champagne breathtakingly beautiful, the location of Trelou-sur-Marne is also particularly charming and peaceful. Sylvie is a very friendly and extremely helpful host whose ability in English made our stay even better. She was always ready with advice about trains, roads, places to see and even everyday things that those of us who cannot speak a word of French would need. The house deserves its title of HOME because it is such a happy place!! It is comfortable, clean and equipped with all you could need. Relaxing at home on the back stoep after a day of sightseeing, was especially soul-reviving, while the seven-year-old played in the garden and explored the lush vegetable garden adjacent to the house. Hope we can return one day and spend a week or two there again!

Beautiful home. Wonderful hosts. Delicious champagne. Stunning area.
Sylvie and Gerard's home was excellent. It was well equipped, lacking nothing. The patio area was ideal for family BBQs and the grassy area was a lovely place for relaxing in the sun. The property was spotless on arrival with beds made up. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to their cellar and spent a lovely evening tasting their champagne and enjoying their company. They are a lovely couple and their dedication and commitment to their business is admirable. It was great to be able to visit Gerard in their vineyards on our final morning in Trelou. The village is beautiful and a well signposted walk through the vineyards provided stunning views and a feel for what it's like to live and work in this gorgeous part of France. The location of the property is great. A small village, but just a short drive from Dormans with plenty of shops and a stunning castle and memorial. We would thoroughly recommend this property to our friends and family. There were 6 of us in the group ranging from 3yrs to 65yrs and we all love our weekend stay. Thank you Sylvie and Gerard!

Gorgeous house in a beautiful area
We had such a lovely week staying inTrelou Sur Marne. The house is fantastic with a beautiful garden, particularly with the spring flowers coming into bloom.....perfect for an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday! Would definitely recommend visiting the Champagne presse and of course tasting the fantastic champagne which we were able to purchase and bring back with us to continue the memories. Sylvie was a brilliant host with lots of great suggestions on where to visit. We look forward to returning!

The perfect Gite and hosts for a stay in Champagne.
Sylvie and Gerard were lovely hosts. The house exceeded our expectations in every way. We really enjoyed learning all about the art of producing high quality champagne from them and really enjoyed sampling the fruits of their labor! We would really recommend their place to those who wish to stay in a charming village and lovely farm house in the heart of champagne country.

What a find, home from home. A wonderful place to stay!
Five of us stayed in Sylvie's home and it proved to be the best place to call home during our tour of the Champagne region. Plenty of room for all of us, the house is charming, peaceful, and well equipped. We were lucky enough to have a hot and sunny day on the Friday and we made the most of the beautiful garden and BBQ facilities. Musn't forget the wonderful Danielle who looked after us as Sylvie was away. Although we don't speak much French and Danielle no Engish, we all made ourselves understood and enjoyed an informative tasting of Sylvies lovely champagne. I could go on about this property, but will finish off by saying that all of us thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and weren't ready to leave at the end of our stay. A repeat visit is a must and soon.

Beautiful home in an ideal location for champagne exploration
Of all the travelling we've done throughout Europe, this holiday home rates the best. Sylvie and Gerard have thought of your every need and have it at hand throughout your stay. Our three young children (ages 9, 7, and 4) loved the home and garden - as did we! Only a 1 hour train ride from Paris, shorter drive to Epernay and Reims, this home is a fabulous location for exploration. The quaint village or Dormans, filled with restaurants and shops, is a 5 minute drive away. Champagne at every corner, and friendly people to welcome you in - what more can you ask for? We are so grateful for the care given to us during our holiday and hope to return!

Serene, beautiful grounds, well maintained gîte
We stayed at Sylvie and Gérard's gîte for three nights in Sept. of 2016. We found the property to be just as described and well maintained. Sylvie greeted us and was very hospitable. We enjoyed the tour, champagne tasting and visiting the fields during harvest and the crush. We would return at any opportunity.

Great spot in the middle of Champagne country!
Located in a small village with easy access by road to the Champagne area. The unit was clean and well equipped for an extended stay. Nice outdoor patio and yard. Owner speaks good English and gave a tour of their small winery. Be aware of an extra charge for linens and cleaning.

Heerlijk rustig ontspannen
Een rustige plek, met alles wat nodig is om te ontspannen. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en wegwijs gemaakt in de accommodatie. De omgeving is prachtig. Goed om te wandelen, te fietsen en de omliggende steden te bezoeken. Reims, Epernay en Chateau-Thierry allen op een half uurtje rijden.
