What a disaster. Just a few days before we were scheduled to arrive, we were notified by the property management company the owner sold the property and our reservation was cancelled. It took a few days of going back and forth with them and Expedia (during our limited spare time during our vacation) to arrange for a refund. The property manager offered a replacement property at no cost but frankly it was not as nice and rented at less than what we paid at the original property. We ended up getting a room at a beautiful hotel in a much better location for less money. A stressful lesson to learn, you’re probably better off going with an actual hotel than an outfit that can pull something like this.
