When there, we couldn't see another house, but it was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go: Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Asheville, Hendersonville... We definitely plan to go back!“

Everything you could possibly need is in the house and the host is very receptive including the warm welcome of a bottle of wine and thank you note. „We were in town for a wedding and this spot was the perfect place for a small group of us to stay. It was easy to find, accomodated parking for several cars, near a grocery store and the backyard overlooked a gorgeous foothill. We had coffee on the porch and it was so peaceful. The house was clean and updated and the beds were comfortable. If I find myself in Mills River again, I would definitely stay here. “

The owner thought of everything,from well stocked kitchen with just about every pan, gadget, and platters, to coffee ready for brewing. „The location and View was beautiful! Actually getting to the house was easy and the location was great. More parking than other houses and places I’ve seen and been to. The inside was nice and comfortable for everyone. There is an issue with the AC not being able to keep up on a hot day, that certainly would help to get a five star rating. „This property is whimsical. It is old, full of character and interesting items, and beds of every sort. The laundry facilities are wonderful, the kitchen, while one of a kind could use a few new pots and such. We enjoyed our time there, it was very relaxing!
