We were dismayed at the level of evasive noise including music and clearly audible conversation from the cafe below beginning around 7.20am until the end of the day. Jos did address the loud music in the early hours but still a lot of noise coming from below. Descent sound installation would help. If you are not bothered by noise then a great place to stay“

I understand it is high in the trees so there will have been insects about and that’s all fine, but the windows hadn’t been cleaned on the outside for a while, the driveway needs some weeding/ferns nurtured so it is easier to park/get out. „At Barrier for my son’s wedding. House a perfect place for the groom and groomsmen to get ready for the beach wedding and reception held at Aotea brewery down the hill. Could not have pick a more perfect place. “

Also, the mattress was super uncomfortable, which was so disappointing after two nights hiking. The location is good, very close to the Irish pub and it has a beautiful ocean view.
