Check out our Facebook page Woodland Water Tower Ranch! Woodland Rd 1882 historic ranch located in Tanque Verde Eastside Tucson. Ranch style setting with modern hotel accommodations. Enjoy the 12 acre property filled with Mesquite Trees, walking paths, swimming pool (not heated), outdoor grill, fire place and sitting areas. Hiking, walking trails and bike paths to Mt. Lemmon. Horse facilities available upon request.

Gather the entire family and friends for a fun filled weekend getaway. Relax with a 50' resort inspired swimming pool (not heated) and multiple entertainment areas including built in BBQ's, fire places and water features.

The guest ranch is a 3,000 square foot (3 bedroom / 2 bath) home. Reservations also include walking access to seven individual casitas. Each of the seven casitas are approximately 400 sq ft with spacious closets, bathrooms and porch lounging. Property easily sleeps up to 20 people. *** We have added additional casitas to allow for more friends, family or colleagues. Sleeps up to 30 people. Additional pricing for extra casitas and guest.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the views, bird watching and southwest desert wildlife.

* NOTE: the homeowner lives on site, in a completely separate unit, and may be present during your stay *

We also have horses and cows onsite. Come meet Lola, Darla, Cosmo and Bliss.

Golfing Tucson
A group of friends and I recently stayed at the Woodland Road 1882 Historic Ranch for an annual golf trip. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. All eight of us had our own private room with all the amenities as well as a number of common areas to meet in the morning and after our rounds in the evening. Each night Kristen had a bon fire prepared for us to light along with additional wood to keep the fun and banter going into the evening. I highly recommend this location for golfing around the Tucson area. It was comfortable, private, and nicely appointed. It was still a little cold in March to take full advantage of an awesome pool area. However, there is a gym and game room that kept everyone as busy as they wanted. Everyone agreed that this set a new bar for our group in terms of lodging for our golf trips. We are all looking forward to coming back next year and playing a few different courses. Kristen is a fantastic host. She is very responsive and any request or question we had was accommodated or answered quickly. Thank you!

Perfect place for our CEO retreat
I traveled to this beautiful property with several colleagues as part of a CEO mastermind group. It was the perfect spot for our time away from the day-to-day hustle of our businesses. Around every corner there seemed to be another pleasant surprise - a perfect meeting spot around a campfire, a stable full of friendly animals, even a nearby walking path that led to a beautiful lake. There was plenty of space for us to come together to learn and share, as well as ample space to spread out when we needed quieter time for reflection and planning. The hosts were easy to communicate with from the time we booked until we all checked out and they made us feel truly welcomed. If you’re traveling with a group, especially one that enjoys spending time outdoors, I can’t recommend this property highly enough.

Return visit
After our visit in September 2024, we knew this was the perfect place to return to celebrate the life of Boompa (grandpa.) Since our last visit 2 casitas and a game room (big hit with grandchildren) were added. Owners went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Having the whole property for our group made it so relaxing. The attention to detail and responsiveness of the owners was amazing. We enjoyed walking around the property, petting the mules and cows, working out in the gym, having comfortable casitas for everybody and there was a bonfire pit! We look forward to returning again.

Great Property
This was our 2nd year staying here and it was as excellent as we expected. Kristen, the host, was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Several of us used the gym every morning and all of us enjoyed the firepit at the house at night. Beds were very comfortable as well. If you are going to Tucson, you need to book this property

Everything about our stay was wonderful, the property is absolutely beautiful! Our large family stayed for my dad’s 70th birthday and the accommodations were great. Everyone had their own rooms and then we gathered each day at the main house or pool. The pool area is soo beautiful, we spent most of our time there. Kristan and her husband were great hosts, they went above and beyond! We hope to be back next year for my mom’s 70th birthday!

I really don't know what to say! This property is phenomenal! We have never stayed in anything like it. The property is gorgeous and so much fun for families. It was like we rented a whole resort. Kristen was amazing, so responsive and everything we could have needed was there. She has thought of everything. Location is great. Grocery store is so close as well as restaurants and you are at the base of Mount Lemmon which is a lot of fun to visit. We will be back for sure!

The Perfect stay & Experience
😊My Son & Daughter In law booked the Ranch for my Grandson's College Graduation & it was perfect! Kristen & Chris were so gracious & accommodating, they have an Amazing property, from private casitas for the guests, wonderful entertaing areas around the pool, bonfires, fabulous BBQ, swim up bar at the pool, multiple places to enjoy around the property. The main house worked well for all of us to gather for breakfast, visiting or just hanging out together..... the property is totally beautiful, peaceful and Chris & Kristen have done so much with it!. Peaceful
We were there for our daughter’s wedding at Tanque Verde,(which is only about 15 minutes away) Not only is this ranch beautiful, it’s serene, and so peaceful. The calm we needed while stressing out about a wedding. It was not warm enough to use the pool, but we were able to catch some sun sitting around the pool area. Everyone enjoyed looking at the horse barn and the cows. Kristen and her husband went out of their way to make sure our family was more than accommodated while we were there. We can not thank them enough for making our Tucson experience the best!

The Hidden Gem of Tuscon, Arizona
I recently stayed at Woodland Road 1882 Historic 12-acre guest ranch in Tucson, Arizona, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The moment we stepped onto the grounds, we were captivated by the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. The property is meticulously maintained, offering a serene and relaxing atmosphere that was perfect for our family reunion. The owners of the ranch were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making sure that our every need was met throughout our stay. It was evident that they take great pride in their property and genuinely care about the experience of their guests. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool area, which was beautifully designed. Additionally, there were various gathering spots scattered throughout the property, allowing us to enjoy the stunning surroundings from different vantage points. The presence of horses, cows, and donkeys added to the charm of the ranch, creating a true sense of rural tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere. As someone originally from Southern California, I can confidently say that Woodland Road 1882 Historic 12-acre guest ranch is a hidden gem that exceeded all of our expectations. Should we find ourselves in Tucson again, there's no doubt that this is the place we would choose to stay.

Perfect property for our group
We hosted a professional retreat of 12 adults at Kristen's property. It was perfect for us - everyone got their own casita or private room in the main house. We had plenty of common spaces for meeting and socializing. The property is beautiful, and we enjoyed going on walks and meeting the cows and horses. Kristen was extremely helpful and easy to work with, and often went out of her way to help coordinate deliveries and services for us, set up the fire pit for us to have bonfires at night, and was extremely responsive whenever we had a question during our stay. We were a bit of a high maintenance group with the all of the various logistics we were managing, and Kristen was nothing but kind, flexible, accommodating, and communicative. And even with all of Kristen's support, we still felt that we had a lot of privacy during our retreat. Extremely positive experience.

Had a group of guys in town for a golf vacation. This property was perfect for our stay: i) everyone had a private bedroom and bath (beds were super comfortable), ii) main house was perfect gathering place for breakfast and dinner each night, iii) on-site fitness facility, iv) pool area was fantastic, v) really enjoyed the fire pits on the property for reliving the day's golf activities (Kristen, the host, provided ample firewood and extra seating for us). Highly recommend this property. We hope to use it again on our next golf trip to Tucson,

More Than You Can Imagine!
This property is stunning! I organized a retreat here and it was the perfect fit for our group. There was plenty of space and privacy for our 16 person group. Kristen is friendly, responsive, and accommodating! We had positive interactions with her spouse and the staff onsite who made us feel welcome. Amazing property and hosts
The ranch is beautiful and perfect for large or small groups. Kristen accomodated our work team retreat and went above and beyond, including receiving deliveries before we arrived, early check-ins, even s'more sticks and firewood! All the rooms are clean, comfortable, have fridges with drinks, and the bunk room is perfect for kids. The house is beautiful and roomy with so many places to conduct separate meetings or have space to just retreat to by yourself. The horses and other wildlife are the icing on the cake. The location is also very near a grocery store and restaurants. Overall a 5-star stay! Thank you, Kristen and family!
