Atemberaubende Aussicht: Rockwood Hill House

Entfliehen Sie dem Alltag in diesem kürzlich renovierten Haus in den Hügeln am Rande des Joshua Tree National Park. Dieser erholsame Rückzugsort befindet sich auf einem 3 Hektar großen Grundstück mit viel Platz im Freien und atemberaubendem Panoramablick. Es ist ideal gelegen, nur wenige Kilometer vom Joshua Tree Village und dem Parkeingang entfernt.

Das Haus befindet sich auf 3 Hektar Land am Fuße der Joshua Tree Hills. Es ist neu renoviert, modern mit einem Hauch von Rustikalität und schönen Betonböden. Es verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche und einen Essbereich mit fast allem, was Sie zum Kochen benötigen.

Es gibt 2 Kingsize-Schlafzimmer, ein zusätzliches Queensize-Bett (echtes Bett, keine Ausziehcouch) in der Garage Lounge. Oh ... habe ich die Garage Lounge erwähnt?

Wir bauten die Garage in eine Lounge / ein Spielzimmer mit Billardtisch und 55-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher, DVD-Player und Roku (Netflix usw.) um.

Es gibt eine große Terrasse mit mehreren Außenbereichen, darunter einen überdachten Wohnbereich mit Sofa und Liegestühlen, einen Essbereich für 6 Personen im Freien mit einem mit einer Pergola überdachten Propangrill und einen nicht überdachten Wohnbereich. Von jedem Außenbereich aus können Sie einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Wüste genießen. Es gibt auch einen Whirlpool für 6 Personen im Freien mit Panoramablick, der sich ideal zum Entspannen nach einem Tag im Park eignet.

Obwohl wir 6 Gäste unterbringen können, ist das Haus am bequemsten für 2-4 Gäste, da es nur 1 Badezimmer gibt. Das Vollbad hat 2 Duschen - eine Duschkabine und eine Badewanne mit Dusche. Es ist daher ideal für Paare und für diejenigen, die sich wohlfühlen!

Incredible stay

The house is very nice equipped, has a very comfortable AC in all rooms and has an awesome view over the desert! A special highlight is the billard room, which invited the family for some extra fun in the evening. We would clearly recommend this home!!

We loved the blend of old and new of this property located just outside Joshua Tree National Park. The property was clean and well stocked. I highly recommend this property to anyone interested in staying near the park. My only regret is that we could not stay there longer.

Everything we needed

This property has it all! Great location very close to JT National Park, amenities like a hot tub, grilling facilities, pool table, three comfy beds, as well as plenty of space to lounge and a well-stocked kitchen. Would love to visit again! Everything very clean and tidy, too.

Rockland House in Joshua Tree A Homerun

Josh & Don, are the perfect/ideal hosts. Rockland House in Joshua Tree was amazing. You sit on top of the Joshua Tree looking down on Yucca Valley with amazing night time twinkling lights, star gazing, sunsets & sunrises. House has all theamenities for an ideal stay.

Amazing home with outstanding views!!

We had a fabulous stay at Rockwood House and didn't want to leave. The owners thought of EVERYTHING and the house is super well-stocked and cozy. We loved watching the beautiful sunrise. We used the hot tub and game room, played pool and piano!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is exactly as shown in the listing. But, you could not describe the amazing sunrises and sunsets that can be enjoyed from the patio. Rockwood Rocks!

We had a great 5-night stay at Josh and Don’s lovely Joshua Tree home. Their home was comfortable (great mattresses) and felt very private. Lots of room to both spread out and have family together time. The outdoor spaces where we sat, ate, read books, stargazed, and listened to birdsong were spectacular! The view is panoramic and we watched the sunrises and sunsets. The entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is just a few minutes from the house. A 5 star plus property- hoping we can return soon!

As Advertised!

Wonderfully clean and relaxing home. The pool table and beautiful sunrises provided great entertainment. The hosts are pros! Our stay was worth every penny, which isn’t true of very much these days! JTNP was gorgeous and my kids (2&6) loved rock scrambling on the discovery trail. We hope to come back! It was such a great weekend away!

Can I give it 6 stars?

The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The ability to divide sections off for different activities is fantastic. And the outside living space is DEVINE. The jacuzzi was hot, and the stargazing from it was magical. Beds were comfy, neighborhood quiet, kitchen well-supplied, lots of towels, everything worked and the documentation was clear. Josh was communicative and very responsive. We were sad to leave and hope to come back soon!

Everything we needed!

Everything we would need and more in the kitchen. Game room a fun and comfy place to hang out. Nice views and lovely outdoor spaces. Heaters took a while to warm up the house but it was cold and windy when we arrived. They eventually caught up. Pictures made it seem a little more wild and remote than it was, but it was still a private, quiet retreat while being easy to get to town and the national park. Very responsive host!

Amazing views

The Rockwood Hill House is a lovely stay in the high desert, with amazing views overlooking the Yucca Valley. Getting there was easy with detailed instructions. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms are spacious and there was lots of outdoor space for eating and relaxing. The game room is a huge bonus! I only wish we could have stayed longer. We will certainly be back, maybe with friends!

We really enjoyed our stay on your property… just walking around the grounds alone and watching the wildlife that roam throigh was an experience in and of itself. Shooting stars from the hot tub… and the views of the city lights below.. What a nice experience in a clean friendly environment

Visit with Grad school daughter

Everything about our stay was wonderful! We met up with our graduate school daughter and her friend at a place none of us had been to prior. Josh and Don were amazing hosts from the welcome snacks to providing everything you could possibly need during your stay. Their beautiful home is so close to the west entrance of the park where after enjoying lazy mornings having coffee together and maybe throwing in a game of pool we would pack a lunch and head into the park. Joshua Tree park is surreal and worth visiting and Josh and Don’s house is a perfect homebase to come back to every afternoon/night. We loved spending time in the hot tub at night watching the stars and the distant lights, playing trivia and pool in the game room which was a perfect gathering place when we weren’t out exploring. Josh & Dan- Thank you so much for your hospitality! We made so many great memories!

Perfection in Joshua Tree

We stayed for three days while visiting Joshua Tree National Park and surrounding area. The house was so convenient to the entrance to the NP. The sunrise each morning was stunning. Fabulous accommodations and location.

Rockwood Hill House was the perfect launching pad for our family adventures. The home was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked with bathroom and kitchen supplies. Lovely Desert Home

My small family enjoyed the relaxing setting of this adorable home. The views are endless, the decor is a fun play on vintage features and the game room was a wonderful bonus! The park is a short drive and the downtown area is even closer. The hosts are very responsive and friendly.
