"Fantastic hotel! Outside of the city but a metro station just a block from the hotel tgat takes you right into the city. There are a couple of restaurants in the area and a McDonald's across the street. Hotel has a bar and restaurant but they are expensive. Our room was huge with a small kitchenette, living room, bedroom, enormous main bath and a half bath. Incredible value for the price and in a quiet area. Comfortable bed and by European standards this is a spacious apartment. "

"The property itself is lovely, staff are very welcoming and helpful and our room was amazing. We stayed in a Panoramic spa wellness room and used all the facilities it had to offer every evening after a long day. The only downside for us was that our view wasn’t very good as there was building works happening to the right of the hotel that we were unaware of when we booked. Couldn’t really have the balcony door open as it was pretty loud. Not much that the hotel can do about that but would’ve been nice to know in advance that this was happening as it seems it will be going on for some time to come. It didn’t ruin our stay but just be aware."

"We had a fabulous stay at Van der Valk hotel. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The facilities were outstanding especially the spa. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lot of the extra touches you wouldnt normally expect. We would highly recommend anyone who is looking to visit Amsterdam for work or pleasure."
