Verbesserungswürdig: Ausstattung und Zustand der Unterkunft
The check-in went well, but downhill from there. We had the family room but used 1 room. It was hot! The pool water was deep green and we could not see the bottom. We were told that it was going to be cleaned “tomorrow”. It took days to clean so no pool for 3 days and then the next day we were on a tour. The pool area needed maintenance, as well as some lounge chairs and table, chair and umbrella sets. It had none! The guest living room did not exist since dining table and chairs were temporarily there. Why? The kitchen was being renovated. Garden area needed major landscaping and table and chairs a thorough cleaning… mold growing all over them. So, the manor had no pool area, living room or garden area. You were limited to your room. It also was out of soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion! We had to go buy some! The garage door to park the cars remained open though the electric gate malfunctioned and was left open. The kitchen staff had no fruit on the first morning. I requested some for future mornings. The selection of bread was very limited, i.e. no muffins. Thee day we had our tour, staff arrived late (7:25 am) and we had to be standing out front (7:45 am) for pickup. The chef made delicious breakfasts. And, the day we went on all day tour, we came back to a room that was not serviced. To be truthful, we couldn’t wait to leave since they were renovating. Thumbs up to manager Zane for apologies and small compensation for inconveniences. Thank you!
