Blockhaus im Herzen der Adirondacks, die alles hat

Ruhige 4-Jahreszeiten-Unterkunft. Das Hotel liegt zwischen dem Ausable River und dem Jay Mountain, 8 km von Whiteface Mtn, High Peaks und 20 Minuten vom Lake Placid entfernt. Die Hütte liegt auf 7 Hektar im Adirondack Park und am Upper Jay Mountain. Ein privater Weg den Berg hinauf bringt Sie zu einer atemberaubenden Aussicht auf einen Teich. Ruhe und Naturschönheit um Sie herum.
Die White Moose Cabin verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche und einen informellen Essbereich. Großer Steinkamin im Wohnzimmer, TV, WLAN ist in der gesamten Hütte und Umgebung verfügbar. Der erste Stock besteht aus einem Vollbad mit Dusche und Badewanne sowie zwei Schlafzimmer, einschließlich Queensize-Betten. Die zweite Etage verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, Queen-Size-Betten, WC, Kamin und einen tollen Blick auf die Berge und den Himmel. Insgesamt können 9 Personen in der Kabine schlafen.
Bildschirm Veranda bietet große Entspannung, während Sie die Aussicht auf die Berge genießen, hören Sie das Flüstern der Blätter und die Lieder der Vögel. BBQ im Hinterhof und die Stühle um die Feuerstelle sind der perfekte Ort, um den klaren Himmel von Adirondack zu genießen.

Eclipse viewing
The property was a perfect place to experience the solar eclipse totality! The common area and kitchen provided space for my family to relax, stay connected by WiFi, cook and eat comfortably. Lots of light and the Adirondack decor throughout the house matched the feel of the outdoor space! We enjoyed the porch, fire pit (wood available) with chairs, the trail to the beaver pond and just the feeling of privacy. Our time here was “easy”. The owner has thought through how to make a visit to his place special in a rustic fashion!

Ski trip with family and friends
Perfect place for a ski trip with family and friends. The game room was great for the kids and the property was very close to Whiteface we’re we skied. The grilling area outside was sheltered and covered so grilling during a snowstorm was no problem! The driveway was also plowed several times, making it stress free to get to the slopes on a powder day. Great trip. Big enough for two families of 4 to spend a week together comfortably!

Great place for ski/family weekend
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was a great location, within close proximity to Whiteface Mtn and the village of Lake Placid. The kids really enjoyed hiking in the woods, walking down by the river, and investigating the beaver dam. We were able to make a fire and enjoy the beautiful Adirondack scenery. Relaxing 2024 New Years Weekend
Our family of 5, plus 1 Goldendoodle enjoyed both the relaxing ambiance of the cabin and it's location in the beautiful High Peaks area of the Adirondack Mountains. We all enjoyed several of the nearby dining establishments and ringing in the New Year at New Vida Preserve. Whiteface skiing and awesome winter hiking are close by to enjoy as well as Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Matt was a great host and we all hope to make a return visit.

Cozy place to rest your feet
We spent a lot of our trip out on the trails, but it sure was great to come back to a cozy home to warm up and relax. There was plenty of room for my husband and I, our two kids, dogs, and the extended family who stayed with us. Plenty of space to be together and space to be apart when you wanted privacy. Hopeful that we can return to the same spot next year!

The cabin is close to hiking and other activities, and equipped with lots of games for rainy days. Visitors should know that one of the bedrooms on the ground floor is accessed with stairs and is far from the bathroom, so not suitable for someone with mobility issues.

The cabin was clean and updated, super shady/low light. My kids (age 7 and 4) loved the game room which was great since it rained a lot. Matt the owner stopped by for a chat (super nice guy) and his son lives above the garage. I’d recommend this place in the winter for skiing Whiteface. Thanks!

Great place to stay if you are looking for a place to relax in the Adirondacks whether hiking, fishing or just hanging out with family and friends. Fully stocked kitchen for making or grilling dinner in and entertaining and all the comforts of home. Spacious and accommodates 8-9. Easy and fast communication with host. Relaxing Vacation
We stayed at the property with our preteen, teenager, elderly parents and dogs. Very relaxing time for all. There was really nothing we had to pack because everything was provided. The owner was very helpful with any questions that we had in preparation for the trip. The first floor bedroom was very handy for my father. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and the beautiful property. We enjoyed the short drive to the lake placid attractions and my husband enjoyed the fly fishing. Matt was very good at communicating with us. Whenever I contacted them during the trip. His son next door was also very kind and helpful.

Great rental
We had a great stay! The house was nice and exactly what we expected. It was a little off the grid but very quiet and safe. There is no cell service unless you are on wifi which is provided free at the house. The drive to whiteface mountain ski resort was easy and quick. The host called me the first night we were there to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. I thought that was super nice! The house has everything you would need for your stay! I loved the screened in porch and the fire pit out back. They even had dog bowls just in case you forget them! If we ever go back to lake placid I would definitely rent this home again!

The location was absolutely perfect. Only 15 minutes from Lake Placid. The owner called to check in with us upon our arrival to ensure everything was ok. That was appreciated. The game room could stand to be updated and was not cleaned but the overall condition of everything else was good. A great place to stay for a long weekend.
