Lilla Stenkulla belongs to Stenkulla Gård together with Villa Stenkulla, but is located on its own lakeside plot of 2,000 sqm. Villa Stenkulla has been featured in House & Antiques, Sköna Hem and Hyttemagazinet.
Lilla Stenkulla is easily accessible by communter boats that traffic the island 10 times/day in each direction. It takes 10 min to Vaxholm and 1 hour to downtown Stockholm. There are also 3 boat taxi firms in Vaxholm. Car and boat parking is available on the mainland.
Vaxholm, the capital of the archipelago, has a lot of history, not least with Vaxholm's fortress, as well as picturesque buildings with alleys and cozy shops. In Vaxholm there are about 20 restaurants, pharmacy, grocery stores, cafes, fresh fish, supermarkets, bakeries with fresh bread, movie theater, ATM and lots of ice cream parlors! Within 20 minutes by own- or taxi boat there are another 10 restaurants with seaside locations. From Vaxholm you can easily take a Vaxholm boat further out in the archipelago. From Arlanda it takes 45 minutes.
The island of Stegesund is classified as a national heritage because of all the merchant villas from the turn of the century and Stenkulla itself has been classified as extraordinary. On the car-free island there is a gravel road that is perfect for jogging and there is also a tennis court. In Vaxholm there is a golf course, canoe and bike rental etc., and Catch & Relax offers guided fishing trips from the island.

Stenkulla Gård has been in Johan Nordquist's possession since 2002 and has gradually been upgraded and renovated to the treasure it is today. Here we celebrate Easter, Midsummer, birthdays. Numerous summer lunches have been held with family and friends. Johan is self-employed with three children and lives in downtown Stockholm.
