„We really enjoyed the space. Loved the gas fireplace, big kitchen and private back yard area. The bedroom with the double bed was a bit dark, not much lighting, but comfy bed and plenty of space. Perfect spot half a block from the ocean, walk to coffee shops and pier. We would definitely stay there again.“

„Lovely home exactly as described and pictured in the perfect location to explore Santa Barbara! 1 minute to oceanfront park, close to downtown for restaurants and shopping, fantastic hiking trails, and also a great place to relax after a big day. Looking forward to a return visit!“

„Very comfortable home and fabulous view. We were a little alarmed when we arrived and just saw a dirt/gravel driveway and no house!. We found it with no problem and there was plenty of parking. We also loved being able to have our dogs with us. It was a great location for a family wedding with many events taking place downtown.“

„This property is everything claimed. Mark, the host, is on top of it! The property is nice, well equipped, "easy" to live in, and immaculately clean. We only used the bed in the master bedroom, but it was quite comfortable. We would definitely stay in this property again.“

„Gemütlicher Bereich lädt zum Entspannen und relaxen ein. Man darf keine Probleme Mit Spinnen oder Tieren haben. Mary ist sehr bemüht den Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bieten, sehr nett und kommunikativ. Danke für die vielen Tipps der näheren Umgebung. Die Gesellschaft der beiden Esel und Bonkers, den Hund haben wir sehr genossen.“

„Wonderful location for a retreat in Santa Barbara. The location was on the bus line so we took the bus to and from the Carrillo Plaza in Santa Barbara. Conveniently located between 2 areas of restaurants and within walking distance to a coffee shop and park overlooking the ocean, our group of 2 couples had a marvelous time. The place was super clean with a fully stocked kitchen and there was plenty of space inside and outside for us to socialize. There is noise from the 101 but the sound ...

„We loved our stay here! The living room was our favorite spot to hang out with everyone. Very cozy couch and the fireplace was great for the colder nights. There is so much space in this house. There were only 4 of us so the downstairs kind of went unused but would be perfect for an extra family if you’re traveling with serval. Communication with the property management was easy and great. Loved the little tar removal kit downstairs as some of us did get a little tar on our feet from the sand. ...

„Great property with a few exceptions. Sliding windows facing ocean need to be cleaned, would help if a squeegee were available. Need reading lights in all bedrooms, including living area so you don’t need to turn on overhead lights at night. Definitely need a booklet with house instructions for using all appliances including heater and oven. Would be very beneficial if all bedrooms had luggage racks. The shower door in the bathroom on the 2nd level across from the queen bed was off track, ...

„Everything was perfect“

„There was a good vibe and the backyard was really nice. The hot tub was used a couple of time. Great location to the beach and the grocery store. My son and I walked there to do some shopping. Note: the guitar on the wall was missing the 6th string, but my son was still able to play Jack Johnson song 😊“

„Easy check in, the place had just been cleaned, great setup - each bedroom has its own bathroom en suite. Big plus !! Only complaint is freeway noise, not too bad but noise just the same. Overall great place for our family“

„The Santa Cruz suite was nice. The bathroom was clean, pretty quiet. We had two cars but parking on the street wasn't an issue for the second car. Although not the property managements fault some lady said I stole her spot in the back I informed her there are no assigned spots. The location was great just a quick 10 minute walk to the beach. And about a 45 minute walk to the downtown area. I'd probably stay here again.“

"We were guests of the Avania Inn for four nights in mid-September 2024. The staff was above average, friendly and helpful at check-in and at breakfast. The modern room was immaculately clean and in very good condition. Overall, we felt very comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony. Yes, Santa Barbara is expensive, yes, the pool is small and - yes - there is a busy road past the hotel. But that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone if you don't close your eyes when booking. One comment: the room doors close quite loudly. This could be improved so that you are not disturbed in your sleep by neighbors coming back late. "
