„We always try to stay in a place that makes us forget we are living in someone else’s home. The Stilly River Cabin is that place. Tastefully remodeled while retaining the rustic vibe. „I don't like to give negative reviews but this was the worst experience in vacation rentals I have ever had. The house was filthy! The mattresses were moldy, the kitchen didn't have hardly any dishes (2 plates for a house the can sleep 20). The treehouse floor fell through on one of our children. Luckily he was not injured. Communication was ok until we told them all of the problems then it was crickets! Not a word from the owner to me or VRBO. This house is not fit for guests. But with alot ...

„This house is gorgeous, almost as pretty as the property it sits on. Perfect for a getaway teenager birthday party with lots of space and open concept layout to see all.The hike was a bit harder than expected to river but wow, a lot of work and effort went into that trail. „It was a little too cold at night to sleep with the windows open to listen to the river as we slept but the rain on the roof made up for that. The only bad nights sleep was when we thought we needed to set our alarm to wake up early. We never set the alarm the rest of our stay. The neighbors to the left put up a no trespassing sign so we couldn’t walk along the river back and that was sad for us. But the home was great. Would definitely rent this home again. “

„We had a lovely stay at Blue Hydrangea - the lake cabin had a gorgeous view and was clean, cozy and had every amenity we needed. The covered porch was incredible with lots of comfortable seating and truly felt like an extension of the room. The marionberry pie and wine and chocolate made us feel so welcomed and was perfect for celebrating our 20th Anniversary. Thank you so much for having us - we will be back again for sure!“
