The hotel was great. However multiple staff had quite the stand off attitude and felt like we were an inconvenience. More over, they had an issue with my card even though it had been authorized and I had the transaction I’d. They made me feel as though I did something wrong. Then 2 days later It was charged again for full amount plus the amount we spent at the lil store there, even though we paid cash for the store. So I was charged twice for every single thing. That is stealing! I have worked for Hilton as a front desk manager for 8 years and I have never witnessed such poor customer service and business practices. So no I will never return to this property nor its sister hotel Hampton Inn in Verona. I have contacted Choice Hotels corporate office and initiated an investigation. I work hard for my money and while the stay was alright all and all the price at which this is now costing us not worth it along with the inconvenience of this mess. Your night auditor and front desk manager, as well as your front desk team, need more training with the computer system and how it works. OnQ? Opera? Or PMS (Advantage)? I’d be more than happy to give you a training course on any and all ☺️
