Dominion Brook Park Vacation Rental - Beautiful suite with garden / park views.

This bright and spacious suite with private entrance and patio with a view of a pond and fountain. Excellent accessibility with no curbs or steps to the entrance, or inside and a designated wide parking spot. The primary BR boasts a queen bed and two large closets & desk area, the secondary BR has a double bed and a large closet, the LR offers dining table and a long sofa where an additional guest could sleep. 58" TV and internet access. Bathroom with tub/shower. Full kitchen with laundry.

"Super location at the end of a dead end street and you can enter the beautiful and manicured Dominion Brook Park at the top of our driveway. This park is dog friendly with numerous water features, trials, outdoor tables, public washrooms, and wide open spaces offering views of the mountains and ocean. We are also just a short 5 minute walk to public transit and the Panorama Recreation Centre offering lap and warm water pools, dry and steam saunas, jacuzzi, weight room, skating, squash and tennis with outdoor basketball and large play structures. The spectacular John Dear Park is also a short 5 minute drive which offers fabulous trails amongst gigantic trees with locations for breath-taking mountain and ocean views.

"Convenient location as it is just a 5 minutes drive from the Victoria Int'l Airport and Anacortes ferry, 10 minute drive to Swartz Bay Ferry, Butchart and Butterfly Gardens, and the Saanich Peninsula Hospital, and 20 just a minute drive to beautiful downtown Victoria with its' many attractions.

Cozy and Light-filled two bedroom walk- out basement apartment in N, Saanich, Vancouver Island
We absolutely loved our stay at the home of Jeff and Anna. Jeff met us with open arms as we drove onto his beautifully manicured property. After welcoming us, he directed us to the newly outfitted walk-out basement apartment which was light filled and cozy. Two bedrooms plus couch in the living room that can be converted into a bed. The kitchen was clean and fully equipped; washer and drier included. What a nice kitchen it had! The beds were very comfortable and the sheets so soft. The bathroom was in excellent condition. Excellent walking paths right next door. Located on a quiet street between Schwartz Bay ( north) and Victoria to the south. We enjoyed. B the nearby Roost Cafe which served a healthy breakfast and lunch. We can totally recommend Jeff and Anna’s place as a great place to stay when you’re on Vancouver Island. Phoebe Smith

Fantastic Home-away-from-home
This beautifully laid out, comfortable apartment is the most well-equipped I have ever experienced. We started and ended our days enjoying the beautiful view of the grounds and the pond—it was so lovely, we never found time to watch movies on the large yet unobtrusive TV. Cooking homemade meals in the fully-equipped kitchen was easy and fun. Great location, great owners AAA+++

Comfortable Stay
We were in town for a wedding in the area. The property is lovely and well cared for. The suite was spacious and quiet. It was very clean and well stocked. The owners were very responsive to inquiries and as they live on the main floor, they were available to greet us when we arrived and wave goodbye to us when we left. We didn't spend a lot of time in the suite, but it was an enjoyable stay.

Efficient and comfortable
The space was perfect for our needs. It’s very clean and comfortable. It worked well for my son who uses a wheelchair but it would not work for a wheelchair user who does not have a companion to reach some of the kitchen items stored on high shelves. Wonderful getaway
We enjoyed Jeff’s apartment so much. The walkout lower level unit was cool, cozy and close to everything. We are bikers and were able To access the trails easily from his place. We ate outside a couple times and used the BBQ. The yard is lovely and private. Would definitely come again.

Lovely surrounding area. Close to everything we needed. Host was very kind and on site if needed. Comfort of beds could be better. Everyone’s taste is different though so maybe ok for others. Extra blankets would be nice. The one they had smelled so bad I had to wash it. Could also be cleaner in general. The refrigerator had remnants of previous guests. Well stocked with supplies. We used the laundry and new gloves and sponge for dishes. Nice touch. I didn’t realize he charged per guest. We had another person come along after I booked the property and then was charged an additional fee after we left. There are pros and cons to every property. I still think this may be the right fit for most and would recommend.

We enjoyed the beautiful yard with it’s spacious lawn and lovely gardens. The suite was comfortable with plenty of amenities and the host was friendly. However, our first impression as we walked in wasn’t good, as there is a dampness issue in the suite. Because the weather was warm, opening the windows helped alleviate the problem. A dehumidifier in the suite would probably be a solution.”

Relaxing and peaceful vacation home away from the city .
We were delighted when we arrived to see how spacious and clean this vacation home is. As we settled in for our 8 day stay, we also quickly appreciated how very well equipped and comfortable everything in this home is. The king and queen beds were possibly the best we have slept on when on vacation.. We enjoyed the peace of the large patio and garden, spending part of each day there. Jeff and Anna are very warm and helpful hosts, ensuring we had everything we needed. The day we left, Jeff even washed our car clean of all the ash that had blown over from the wildfires on the mainland. This is an ideal location for visiting Butchart Gardens, Victoria and many other local attractions. We certainly hope to make this our vacation home again the next time we visit Sidney.
