The room I had on the first floor "201" with a pool view was very basic and clean with a king bed. The mattress was comfortable. The room was a little dated and showing signs of wear, but it was fine. The positives were that it was quiet most days by the pool, the front desk was helpful, and there was a decent restaurant "French Verandah" on-site. Service at restaurant was a bit slow, but they had good variety on the menu and the food was okay. There were several other restaurants in a 1-10 minute walk from the hotel, so there were other options. The towels were nice quality, and they provided wash cloths and bar soap. The negative was that there was no sandy beach in front of this property, so you had to walk 5-10 minutes down the boardwalk to reach a small beachy area. Also, there was no hair dryer in the room. This was the first hotel in St. Vincent and the Grenadines that didn't have one in the room. Perhaps the front desk or housekeeping would have delivered one, but I didn't have time when I discovered there was no dryer in the room.
