Stylish new Hotel wasted on bad service
We booked three nights for about 400$ per Night and were excited about our Beach vacation. Yet the experience was so frustrating that we cancelled our last night and left early.
The hotel is new and stylish, the room comfortable and lunch there Decent. Breakfast was just okay.
The bad part that ruined the trip was the service and that didn’t seem to have to do with Corona precautions, just bad organization. You had to wait for EVERYTHING! we arrived at 3, check in isn’t until 4, so our room isn’t ready. While waiting we wanted to get a beverage on their pool area overlooking the beach but there we had to get seated to order so - Waiting for a table.Then some waiter tried bringing us food twice we didn’t order and When we asked for the check we were Twice brought the wrong bill. It’s 4:20 pm now and the front desk still hasn’t called us even though they told us they would When the room was ready. So we again waited in line at check in to find out our room was in fact ready, we just hadn’t been informed. Then we waited at the elevator - there is four of them, one is broken and one is blocked for the rooftop restaurant and the other two must be badly programmed but there was ALWAYS a wait for the elevators. We also waited later at the roof top restaurant even though we had a Reservation, and the Next Morning for breakfast (45 Minutes!!). On lunch we asked for utensils and a napkin that never came and it took forever to get the check. That was the last straw.
