Tutu's Place ein Volcano Village Cottage 1 Meile vom Nationalpark entfernt

Tutu's Place gehört der in Hawaii geborenen Lorna Larsen-Jeyte, der ehemaligen Miteigentümerin der Kilauea Lodge. Das 92 m große Cottage befindet sich im Herzen des Volcano Village, 1,6 km vom Volcanoes National Park entfernt, auf einer privaten Straße ohne Durchgangsverkehr. Wir können bis zu 5 Gäste in zwei Schlafzimmern begrüßen (eines mit einem Kingsize-Bett und eines mit einem Doppel- und Doppelbett). Genießen Sie einen Jotul-Gaskamin in Ihrem Wohnzimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, einen Smart-TV zum Streamen und einen großen Garten mit Esstisch im Freien.

Dieses Haus befindet sich im Herzen von Volcano Village, einer kleinen Künstlergemeinschaft außerhalb des Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Auf 3.750 Fuß Höhe genießen die Stadt Volcano und der größte Teil des Nationalparks ein kühleres Klima als die Gemeinden auf Meereshöhe. Die Privatstraße, Hale Ohia Lane, ist mit einer Vielzahl alter Arten bepflanzt und führt sofort in die Zeit der alten Hawai'i zurück. Das Dekor im Haus entspricht auch dem einzigartigen Ortsgefühl mit Buntglasfenstern, fröhlichen Stoffen und allem nötigen Komfort für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt.

Dieses Haus liegt direkt gegenüber dem "Ola'a Plantation House" und die beiden Immobilien können zusammen für wundervolle größere Versammlungen mit Platz für bis zu 10 Gäste gemietet werden.

Das Haus verfügt über eine eigene Auffahrt mit ausreichend Platz zum Parken.

Wonderful historic house in Volcano
We loved our stay at Tutu's. The home was perfect for our family and had everything we needed for our 2-day visit to Volcano. The home is larger than is shown in the photos and was both historic in its charm, and modern with amenities such as Apple TV. It was very clean and inviting. We would definitely stay again!

Great place for exploring the volcano!
This place is such a cute place. It feels like an old bungalow. Our daughters loved waking up every morning and plying out in the big front yard and back yard. The beds are comfortable and slept all 5 of us perfectly. It’s probably a 3 minute drive to the park entrance, which was awesome because it was easy to come back for dinner and then make an attempt to see the lava glow after dark. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we were able to make all our meals in it. We didn’t try the restaurant that is within walking distance but we liked that that was an option if we needed it. All in all, a great place to stay for touring the volcano!

Charming cottage near VNP
We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Tutu's Place. Very spacious and everything worked as expected. The cottage was very clean and we had solid communication with the owner/manager. This place is very quiet and secluded yet close to the Volcano Village shops/restaurants and a 5 min drive to the Volcanoes National Park entrance. It is a very special place and we can't wait to return to Tutu's again.

Great location
Charming home close to volcano and walking distance to restaurants and ebike rentals. Great Wi-Fi and plenty of linens. My only slight complaint was that the shower water pressure was weak. Everything else was so wonderful though.

This place was amazing! The house itself was so charmingly historic and the attention to details and amenities was top notch! There was even a large supply of bandaids and Neosporin under the bathroom sink for all the times my kids fell while hiking in the park! A Wonderful Staycation of our 39th Anniversary!
When we googled the location of Tutu’s Place and realized it would be in the middle of the Volcano Village, we thought we’d be disappointed. But we were delightfully surprised. Tutu’s Place was clean, and secluded. We’re there for 5 nights to celebrate our 39th anniversary, and the bed was firm and very comfortable. Thank you for putting out some Christmas decorations! We enjoyed the walk to the Village Store which was so close by, in the rain with an umbrella! We highly recommend this place!

Old home but like new
The house and yard are so well maintained. The house is clean, with some vintage touches like stained glass windows, door handles and light switches. One nice touch was the instructions on the coffee pot (along with ground coffee) so your morning isn’t ruined by terrible coffee. It’s about 30 minutes to Hilo but a pleasant drive.
