Upon arrival and taking in our supplies, I first discovered that the countertop in the kitchen was extremely sticky (it took cleaning it twice to remove it), then the dish drainer as well as the sink underneath the drainer was littered with food and filth. „Lots of pros to this cabin - close to a main road so quick easy access to town, pubs, smokies etc. The con of that is that it does not have the elevation that provides a view or cooler air. There’s also a bit of road noise. Therenis sleeping for 3, but the main space of the cabin is pretty tight. It is used only as a rental so it has exactly what you need (towels, linens, plates, cups) but absolutely nothing more - so be sure to pack in any spices, zip lock bags, tin foil etc. It was very clean, ...

„My sister and I wanted to stay away from the crowds of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We wanted to see Cades Cove, Townsend, and the surrounding areas for Ancestry.com research. The cabin was close to shopping, local restaurants and a grocery store. Several of the restaurants in the area are dog friendly and have outdoor dining. „The cabin was very cute and very clean. We loved the bathroom !! Had a very nice tub. There was an electric fireplace in each bedroom. Nice 👍. I think my only complaint would be there were no blinds in the living room. There were no close neighbors but I still prefer to have windows covered at night. the steps to the loft were steep and didn't have a rail on one side so little scary for kids. It was beautiful and we would stay again for sure !!“
