Villa Capri, your retreat to peace and relaxation, is located in Garica on the island of Krk. Garica is a peaceful village surrounded by trees and greenery, just 7-minute drive from a beautiful small town Vrbnik, sea and beautiful beaches. Garica has two smaller grocery stores.
Vrbnik is a medieval picturesque city in the east of Krk Island. The rich history of Vrbnik dates back to 1100. Spectacular and unique is the historic old town, which is enthroned on a high rock above the coast and enchants with an almost magical ambience.
Built on a spectacular location on a 49-meter-high cliff above the sea, the historic centre is home to countless monuments, buildings and churches. In the Vrbnik town centre, you will discover many interesting historical sites, cosy cafés, wine taverns and restaurants. During a tour of the center, you will embark on some kind of time travel, exploring a labyrinth of old alleys with stone houses and discovering fabulous viewpoints of the coast. Moreover, in the old town, there are fine stores where you can try regional specialities such as the famous regional white wine Zlahtina.
Interesting are also the many churches and museums. Especially recommended is the library in the former prince’s house, where one is amazed by valuable paintings as well as by ancient documents. In addition, there is a Renaissance book printing house and a small museum of local history in the old town. A worth-seeing attraction is the parish church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary with its freestanding Renaissance church tower from Venetian times, which can be seen from far away.
Many beaches of Vrbnik are breathtakingly beautiful and ideal for a beach vacation. Fantastic excursions in the surrounding area with many beaches, charming villages and a wide range of activities in nature finally make Vrbnik a real highlight on Krk Island.
Šilo, also close to the Villa, is a beautiful destination that boasts a variety of stunning beaches. Konjska, situated on the island, is a family-friendly beach that offers a crystal blue sea and a children's playground. Šilo Beach, also located on the island, features sandy and pebble terrain and is praised for its cleanliness and accessibility. Murvenica Cove is a more venturesome option, nestled in untamed nature with no facilities but offering a liberating atmosphere.

One of the most beautiful places on the island of Krk is Krk town with its wonderful old town. The most interesting sights include the Frankopan Castle with the imposing fortress wall, the picturesque main square “Placa Vela” and the Assumption Cathedral with its beautiful onion dome.
