3-Bedroom Tropical Villa Fall Special $300 a Night - Hali'i Kai 20F

Welcome to your vacation home in paradise!

One of the nicest gated communities in the world-famous Waikoloa Beach Resort, Hali'i Kai boasts the only condominium property with a private OCEAN FRONT amenity center. Contained within this Ocean Club are the pool, fitness center, bar, and restaurant - all with unobstructed panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean - including breathtaking sunsets. The multi-level lagoon pool features a waterfall, kiddie pool/wading area, and a sand- bottom hot tub. The bar has happy hour daily from 2 to 5:30 pm and serves a variety of beer, wine, and cocktails. The restaurant serves delicious island inspired food for lunch and dinner.

Also located within the community are tennis and basketball/pickle ball courts, as well as a putting green.

20 F is a two level 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit and is the largest floor plan in the complex at 1,9307 sq ft, including two large lanais. There is one queen bedroom on the main level - the master bedroom and the 2 twin bedroom are on the upper level.

The main level great room includes full kitchen, breakfast bar, living and dining areas.

The master bedroom features king bed, a flat screen tv and sliding glass doors that open onto a large private lanai. The master bathroom is en suite, with walk-in closet, soaking tub, separate shower, water closet, and dual sinks.

Other amenities: Weber gas grill, full size washer/dryer, a detached garage stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, and other sporting equipment.

At check in you will receive access cards that can be used to gain entry to the main gate and the Ocean Club.
The Hali'i Kai Resort requires a resort fee of $20/night per unit to be paid at check in. As of April 1, 2023 the resort fee rate will be $25/night per unit that will need to be paid at check in. The fee allows guests to the Ocean Club, amenities, and parking pass. The Halii Kai front office is open every day from 10am – 6pm.

Waikoloa Beach Resort provides all the services you need with the nearby King's Shops and Queen's Market Place that have several restaurants, shops, movie theater, sports outfitters, gas station and grocery stores.

Amazing property!!
We stayed at this property with our teens and grandparents. I have stayed in Wailea in Maui numerous times and this place met every expectation. It was clean, very well stocked and had the perfect amount of space. The pool is a club house. The staff are wonderful. This complex is the combination of condo living with a private restaurant and bar. It was so nice to walk down to fresh towels, nice loungers with cushions and a full service. You can bring snacks down or cook on the bbq at the pool. You can not bring in alcoholic beverages but they have happy hour in the afternoon with very reasonable prices. They do have a fresh ice cold water stand. On the weekends they have live music, food specials and at sunset the blow the conch with a Hawaiian tribute. There were lots of smaller kids playing with no issues. Pool temperature and hot tub were spot on. For bugs, just do not leave your screen doors open. There is the odd bug and yes cockroaches are on the big island. There were no bug issues in the condo. The grounds are immaculate and as long as you keep the screens closed the bugs and geckos will stay outside. The location of the condo is convenient. 10 minute walk to the shops, 5 min walk to the Hilton for Kona coffee or restaurants and 15 minute walk to black sand beach. This complex is 5 star. All the amenities you could want. We will be back!

Beautiful, well stocked condominium
I have stayed at Halii Kai for 15+ years, at multiple condos, and this one was the best! The unit has been updated with ‘hardwood’ floors and a new washer/dryer. The kitchen is well stocked, even for picky chefs. There is also a lot of beach equipment included…usually we end up buying it and leaving it there, so it was a nice addition. The process was seamless from start to finish. The pool at Halii Kai is fantastic in location (albeit a bit busy). It was a great stay for 6 adults.

One problem
We were very excited as we drove up to the property. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The unit itself looked clean, however, when I walked into the kitchen on the very first morning, there were multiple roaches! I called Korby and he assured me that the property had pest control maintenance and this was the first time anyone had complained ... I'm not sure I believe that because there were already roach traps in a cabinet in the unit's laundry room. We used those traps and, throughout the remainder of our stay, 'caught' MANY roaches of various sizes. My husband took and emailed pictures to Korby on the day of our check out; we never heard any response.

Beautiful property
Gorgeous property. The room suited our needs very well with 2 couples and two teens. Loved having beach gear available. The only two things that were difficult were the distance to the pool was very far and too far to walk for one of our group members. Also, the number of rules at the pool decreased our enjoyment somewhat —can’t bring outside drinks including water, no playing cards allowed and were not allowed to toss toys to be retrieved at the bottom of the pool—a game we play at every place we stay at. Pool very suited to adults but not as family friendly. Hot tub was very nice. Poolside drinks were delicious.

Highly Recommend
We stayed in our villa June 2023. It was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We appreciate all the little details like hand soap, shampoo etc, trash bags, bandaids and the list could keep going. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom (family of 4). The grounds are beautiful and easy walk to shoreline. Kona is about 40 minutes away but beach 69 north of the villa was our favorite. It is a sandy beach with shade. You will not regret renting this villa!

This condo was absolutely perfect. Very clean, well-appointed, and a wonderful location. Plenty of towels (including beach towels), pillows, blankets, and everything you need in the bathrooms and kitchen. Our family of 5 was very comfortable! Great location to allow traveling the big island without spending all day in the car. And the beach club is amazing! Highly recommend.

Clean, spacious and close to all of the activities on the leeward (sunny) side of the island. Not terribly inconvenient to KOA either. Makes for a long day of driving if you’re into hiking Hawaii Volcano National Park, or visiting Hilo frequently. Very nice amenities near the Queens Marketplace and Kings Shops.

Exactly as described - if not better. Halii Kai is far more superb than paying for an overcrowded resort. We visited both hotel resorts nearby and were very glad we chose this property at Halii Kai instead - much more tranquil and much higher quality. We didn’t spend much time at the condo but it was in great order and beautifully decorated. As other visitors mentioned - it truly does have everything you may need. The owners clearly take pride in this condo and we’d love to return again for a slightly longer stay next time.

We had a great stay in the unit. Everything was as advertised in the photos. In short, we’d definitely stay here again. Pros: FULLY stocked kitchen (cookware, not food) Cold AC Comfy beds New laundry appliances Large supply of beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, putters for the putting green, beach towels) CONS (none of which were major issues to us): Second story unit, no elevator Very slow hot water circulation 10 min walk from the clubhouse/pool No high chair/pack n play/kid or baby gear Listing says unit sleeps 8, there are only blankets for 7. Meaning only one extra blanket in the unit. It needs another 2-3 for sure just to have.

We'll Be Back
Of all the places we've stayed in Hawaii (and there have been many, this was by far the best. We could walk from our condo to the Ocean Club where we could swim in the pool and eat in the restaurant. We ate there on three occasions because it was delicious and the service was great. It was also surprisingly reasonably priced. The pool was never crowded. At the Club, you are right at the water and we enjoyed a number of amazing sunsets. It was a big hit for the whole family.
