Great stay
Stayed 6 nights, our 4th time staying at Jamie’s flat. Flat is very comfortable and quiet. kitchen well stocked with dishes, kettle, coffee maker etc. Bed is comfortable, linens fresh. Flat is well located close to shops, train station and a pub. Jamie is very prompt at answering any questions, conscientious host. I would definitely stay again.

Almost like home
This is a great place. The location, the unit and the host are all great. There were some minor inconveniences like the lock box to get and return the key was very hard to open. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. We had to remove old wash cloths. There was no coffee or tea. We had to go out and get a lot of basics. Plus the iron was missing, and there was nowhere to hang coats, towels or bath robes. Luckily, there are shops all around, and the host is very responsive. As soon as the host was made aware he addressed things. We suspect that since this unit is so popular we just happened to arrive at a super busy transition time. We would most definitely stay again and have no problem recommending it.

Great stay in a safe, quiet neighborhood
First of all, Jamie was very responsive to everything. Unfortunately he forgot to send us the entry instructions so we were delayed about an hour getting into the apartment after a long overseas flight, but all's well that ends well. The apartment was clean, comfortable, accessible (important to us) and a perfect location for us during an event. Parking was a little tough but we found if we parked on the street with the apartment pass in the window we never got ticketed or towed. Comfy bed, everything we needed and great all around. The only reason I gave 4* was because of the check-in process, so if you make sure you have Jamie's instructions before you get there you'll be just fine. Plus with Jamie's super responsiveness it all worked out. Thanks, Jamie. Great apartment in Walton-on-Thames.

Good stay
The property is a ground floor flat in a block that would have been built for council housing originally. As Kirstie Allsop always says these were properly built!! Is a good size of property with a very very good kitchen well equipped and a great breakfast bar. Good sized bedroom & bathroom with a good quality shower. The property is in Walton on Thames so is a 35 - 45 minute train journey to central London (Waterloo) if you are planning to visit from there you need to factor that in and budget the costs of train travel. Is 0.7 miles from the town centre where there are several restaurants to choose from. Just round the corner is a convenience store and a little further down the street a bakery for breakfast supplies. Although part of a residential block absolutely no problems with noise etc

Ideal locale
Pluses included the neighborhood and proximity to shops and the train station. Property was well appointed and had a phenomenal dryer which is vital for those wishing to pack light. Easy communication with the host and very comprehensive information about affordances of the property. Nothing onerous involved in the check out which was appreciated.

Potential to be perfect
This is a great flat in a great location. There are many food options nearby and the heart of Walton is a short walk from this cute apartment complex. I felt very safe in this community. If the couch and bed were more comfortable and the cleaner more observant , I would have given this place five stars. The kettle had to be scoured before use and there was a leaking water heater in the bathroom which wasn’t communicated to the owner by his cleaning staff. If the owner replaces the old furniture and repairs the leak, this place would be perfect!

Comfortable, clean and cosy! Great apartment close to Walton mainline station into London, local restaurants & shops just a few minutes away. This is not the first time I have stayed here! Wonderful location
Only a few blocks to the train station and only one block to convenience stores and a great little Italian restaurant. There are others but the Italian place was our favorite. Apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. Parking is on a first come first serve basis but we were lucky enough not to have to walk the few blocks to public parking. All in all, a great stay. Really nice neighborhood as well.

In the suburbs but accessible to London
Jamie’s apartment is as pictured - comfortable and clean with all the space you need. Plenty of take away and sit down restaurants within 2 blocks. Friday’s had terrific fish and chips, Caspari Express had tasty lasagna, and the pub close to the train station was a fun experience! A grocery store was close by as well. The train station is about 3 blocks away and employees there answered all of our questions. The trains in and out are expensive, but we still saved a lot of money by staying in this apartment in Walton on Thames compared to London hotels. We spent 6 nights here and went into London 4 times so we got to know the train system very well! Jaime’s communication with us was excellent. I recommend this apartment for its reasonable price and convenience.

Very nice, clean apartment. Great location, close to shops, train to London, restaurants and pub. This is our 3rd time at Jamie’s apartment and we are always pleased with our stay there. However, a few improvements are needed, fresh pillows, new fry pans and as there were no hand towels, face cloths or dish rags for wiping the counters these would be a good addition. The shower tap also needs fixing, runs too hot and unable to adjust to cooler temp.

Modern Apartment close to London and Historic Sites
This apartment was well-equipped, was in a good location and was very comfortable. Walton-on-Thames was near both Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace made it very convenient for taking in the great British history. The town was scenic, with walking paths along the Thames River, and was within walking distance to stores and restaurants as well as the train station. London Waterloo Station was only a 20 minute train ride. Another big plus was its close driving distance to Heathrow for our trip back to the US. Internet and Cable TV were both excellent as well. Parking on-site was a welcome bonus. The only drawback was the bathroom exhaust fan which never turned off and the noise was somewhat annoying. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Flat.
This was our second time staying at Jamie's flat. Great flat for 2 people, clean, modern, everything you need. Jamie always provides very clear details on how everything works, good support. Location is good, shops and restaurants just around the corner, train station to London a 5 minute walk, also a very nice pub a 5 minute walk. Town centre is a 10-15 minute walk but is also on bus route to town. My only critique would be new fry pans are needed.

We really enjoyed our stay here and appreciated the comfort when we returned each day after exploring the surrounding areas . Easy to get about by bus or train but mostly we walked as only 15 or 20 minute walk to the Thames .Great places for food too.
