Farm'ville with tons of space, bathrooms are updated, attention to some details and others overlooked. Loved the Southern farm environment, fresh eggs, sausage and bread for a yummy fresh breakfast. Didn't have time to explore the store, animals or grounds but did see lots of activity going to and from the store, the guest house and employees.
Flies & wasp were an annoyance we could'velived without. We realize it's a farm but pest management is a real thing. Cob webs, lights not working and piles of 'stuff' in cabinets/closets/laundry room did affect the overall feel. As soon as we walked in the front hall we saw the ripped, silk bench cushion, which grabs your attention and then sets the tone for noticing the sofas are definitely lived on and other areas receive little or no attention. My question would be, how much does it cost to have that recovered or to have 2 nice enough sofas? Just sayin!
Overall the check-in and communication was good but we did have to request info we were told would be provided. Apparently, the info book inside the home isn't updated ... again, why not if you're running a business here.
The location, clean bathrooms, semi comfortable beds and space to enjoy family, before and after a wedding, was nice. I'd consider staying again or referring it out, IF some of these 'oooops' were improved and given attention
