„The apartment had everything we needed for our short trip. Bedrooms were cozy and had soft beds, big closets, and their own TVs. The bathroom was amazing!! Double sinks and included rain-like shower head. The kitchen, living room, and large patio were bonuses for this place. I will definitely book again.“

„Von Aussen nett, Innen eine Katastrophe. Altes abgewohntes Mobiliar, der Teppich klebrig. Alles ist renovierungsbedürftig, Schranktüren defekt, überall sieht es aus, als wenn versucht wurde was notdürftig zu renovieren. Und es mufft moderig. Definitiv nix zum Wohlfühlen. Der Empfang war dafür aber nett und herzlich. Parkplatz und Frühstück waren inklusive. Klassisches amerikanisches Continental mit einer warmen Eierspeise.“

„My extended family of 8 just returned from Serenity Woods and we all agree that the property is very aptly named. The whole experience was smooth, serene and the property is just beautiful. „If you pictured this property minutes from the historic district of Newtown it’s exactly that. The space brings to life the feeling of the rustic yet comfortable aspect of Connecticut. My adult son and teenage daughter were comfortable but thoroughly enjoyed the living room fireplace. This location is 10 minutes away from restaurants that will please most families with a mix of family to high end with a side of fancy. “

„We made happy memories over a cold January weekend. We cooked together, sat around the fire, played games and dozed in comfortable beds with high quality linens. We enjoyed the view of the water and the twinkling lights on the property at night. The steam shower was divine. If you like cooking, bring good knives, a veggie peeler and good pans. Plenty of glassware and dishes and some cookware provided. “

„Overall do not stay in this house! They are scamming people! They say they are military family yet took advantage of one!! Still owe me my refund and refuse to answer VRBO to give the okay to refund my money! This place was not clean it was very unsanitary and there were drug paraphernalia in the backyard! „The Barn is a gorgeous home with very sophisticated art and furniture. The home is really comfortable, eight of us easily fit in the living areas and the beds were super cozy. We took a short drive to the town of Litchfield and had a fun time exploring the shops and restaurants there. Perfect place for a relaxing weekend.“
