„absolut ok“

„Zimmer ist schön hell und sehr schön eingerichtet. Betten sind gut, aber man spürt die Sprungfedern. Es wäre schön, wenn es mehr Sitzmöglichkeiten außen für die Gäste geben würde. Die derzeitige Bank steht genau vor den parkenden Autos. Man sollte beachten, dass die Zimmer eine sehr dünne Tür haben und die Gästeküche und Aufenthaltsraum sich genau davor befinden. Wir hatten zum Glück ruhige Mitbewohner. Frühstück gibt es in einem super tollen Wintergarten mit Ausblick in den tollen Garten.“

„Comfortable stay once the heating kicked in. The hotel was booked in the premise that on Hotels.com showed that it had access to gym facilities. Upon arrival, it was explained this was not the case. We were greeted kindly and checked in without any issues - booking was already paid for online. Breakfast - a box breakfast was offered but was also advised we could go to breakfast at a different hotel. „Venue is perfect for anyone visiting the surrounding area. It's nice to stay in a place that's got some character about it. The room we had was in the Coach House and was a little tired but perfect for what we needed and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good and a few variations for people to try (the full english was great). The staff were friendly and approachable (especially William in the dining room and Siobhan in house keeping), although when they had a function on in the pub it did ...

„Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. “

„The Sugarbeat B&B is a great home from home, staff, food and service is top notch! Our room ‘Manilow’ was ok but noisy in the morning from 0700 with extractor fans for kitchens, plus doesn’t go off until 1100. The room low roof made it very difficult to relax, plus only one chair to watch tv or have a coffee in room. Cleanliness could be a little bit better with some stains and marks on furniture. Overall an excellent place and have booked again for April.“
