„The house was a cute little house. It was a quaint little house in a quiet town. The house was super clean and well kept up. Kris had thought of a lot of little amenities and placed them in the house. For example, she had some toothbrushes set out in case somebody forgot theirs. She also had some bug spray and a citronella candle out for someone if they wanted to sit outside. So the bugs wouldn't bother them. The river was only approximately one block from the house. „the event center is in the process of development, with construction workers and miscellaneous characters running about. The cabins are almost brand new (business est 2021) and they are continuing to build more cabins. The cabins all sleep 4+ people, but the interiors would be cramped for more than 2 because of the smaller appliances and plumbing installed. They utilize window AC/heater units that are really loud and located right next to the main bed...woke me up every time it kicked in! ...

„First of all, Nikki was our online host and stayed in communication with me the whole time. When we arrived at Cedar River, I found that the cabin I thought I reserved was not the one I actually reserved. Fortunately for us Nikki was there to check us in and helped us upgrade to a bigger cabin to fit our family and puppies. „We weren't sure what to expect and gosh were we blown away! The property is so quiet and so well tended. The pool was still open, warm and the cleanest I've ever been in. Cabin was equally clean and very cozy. All items we needed to cook were already there and the beds comfortable. We look forward to coming back.“

„Walking in the door to the sound of a voice calling out "Cheri is that you?" set the tone for what proved to be a most pleasant stay. Brenda has put her heart and soul into this BnB and it shows in every way. Breakfast was a full, delicious buffet, the room was so comfortable I was asleep in minutes, and the menagerie of critters is a real treat. „Great place, that's why we book this place every time we come to Illinois. Great neighbors who are very friendly and the setting is relaxing and beautiful. The cabin has all you need, just bring your clothes. The host were very helpful when we didn't receive our door code and responded quickly. We will be returning soon.“
