„OK ish to stay with dogs. However the road to get to the property is terrible terrible terrible. We slipped off the Provincial sand road due to mud. However the real challenge is to get to the farm house. Not fun at all especially when wet. We won't visit again because of challenges to get to the property. Real pity. “

„We booked and paid for a room at this establishment. Two days before we received a message by Whatsapp to tell us that there was no one at the reception after 5pm, and give us the procedure to follow to collect our keys and settle down. In the end, this establishment is a room in Airbnb... that's not what we wanted. So we went elsewhere, to a real hotel with people to welcome you and take care of you.“

„The location of the hotel is good. The stairs down the the rooms is built for somebody with long legs and the ramp - not sure if that is for a wheel chair which I will never use. The restaurant is very over priced and its really not great food. The food at Mrs Simpson is WAY better. The fire place, having a vent right on top, the room was always smelling of smoke. Rooms do all need a little TLC. Staff is very friendly and helpful.“

„The physicality is breath taking! It is close enough to Johannesburg that a quick weekend getaway is doable without driving for untold hours before you reach your destination. This is quiet hideaway, and even though Wi-Fi availability is advertised, there is no cover in the accommodation that we used. Spotty Wi-Fi is available in the reception area. The approach roadway is bad! So no small cars as you need height or off-road ability, large cars are wide and are damaged by encroaching vegetation ...
