„As a family of 2 parents, three tall young adults and a girlfriend we comfortably settled into the WH for 3 nights. We found everything we needed, shared 2 bathrooms and an extra toilet and were very comfortable and warm this winter in the three generous bedrooms, comfortable roomy lounge and well appointed kitchen and dining area. „This was an extremely disappointing property. It was rundown, outdated, (unnecessary clutter everywhere), unclean and in poor condition, inside and out. The cleanliness of the kitchen, with musty cupboards, dirty dishcloths, unclean cutlery and filthy fridge and BBQ was a disgrace. The precarious shower over the bath was an extreme safety issue and should be addressed with at least one safety rail. „The meals were very generous and good pub fare. The room was not heated at all, so be aware in winter it's cold!! An electric blanket would have been helpful. That said, the blankets were warm. Wifi didn't work in the rooms, so we weren't able to watch anything or plan the next day (no tv). Wifi worked in the shared lounge and in the bar. It was clearly a grand hotel in its day, nice that not too much has been modernised. “
