„Really enjoyed our overnight stay. Lovely and quiet, with comfortable rooms. While we didn’t stay for breakfast there were options for us. The view and setting were lovely - would be ideal with a group of friends. “

„Maria, who is front of house, was so welcoming and later, in the dining room she tirelessly looked after us and all the other guests. The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. I would certainly recommend this as a wonderful getaway. “

„A wonderful pub and restaurant, with very convenient accommodation attached. The staff looked after us well. There was a good selection of food for dinner, and the breakfast was outstanding. There was some noise from passing traffic, but this was not overly distracting. Would definitely stay here again.“
