„We had a lovely time in the cottage. It was only a few days because we were on a tour, but we didn't miss anything. It is nicely furnished and everything you need was there. The garden is completely fenced in, so it's absolutely great for dogs. The pretty garden is across the street where you can sit when the weather is good.“

„I booked this home for my husbands 30th surprise. The house is ideal for gatherings as there is no one for miles to disturb. This property can be seen from the road and looks amazing. „The hosts bent over backwards to personalise our stay, whilst respecting our privacy. From the homemade tablet, pancakes and artwork to the birthday balloons and beers, we had a lovely break. The cabin has everything you need, and the hot tub is fantastic to soak in under the stars. We just wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more. „Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!“

The livingroom/sitting area was stinking of dogs. The plug-in air freshener was empty. Couldn't figure out how to use the grill.“

„Enjoyed the weekend at Wauchope Cottage. Perfect location to explore the coast and Galloway forest area of SW Scotland. House is super clean and much more room than we expected. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved walking around. It would be nice if there was an opportunity to visit the castle to see the inside. This is a fairly remote property, so be prepared to drive to anything you need. But so quiet and peaceful.“

„Schönes Hotel, auch wenn wir im von außen weniger ansehnlichen Nebengebäude untergebracht waren. Das Zimmer war aber vollkommen in Ordnung, sauber, recht groß und komfortabel. Das Bett war sehr groß, lediglich eine Bettdecke für zwei Personen geht gar nicht. Ansonsten sehr schön!“
