„The house is quaint with historical charm. By all accounts the beds were comfortable. We stayed in the winter and so can't speak to the outside amenities. We also didn't travel into town, so I can't speak to that either. The only criticism is that the elders in the family had a hard time finding the house as it is back off the road and the numbers are nailed up on a tree. Admittedly, I also had a moment looking for the house, but I was looking during daylight hours so it was easier to find. ...

„This place is very cute and stayed really warm during a winter storm which was so fun to experience. The heated bathroom floor and fireplace were much appreciated! In the winter this is not a gorgeous location as without the tree leaves you feel planted in the middle of a parking lot; however, the location allowed us the ability to get to shops and restaurants that stayed open during the snow, wind and very cold temperatures. „Overall the place is wonderful and we enjoyed the amenities. My teenaged boys enjoyed the game room, pool at night, beach, fire pit. I loved the bed, having a kitchenette, and the coffeemaker. Much better than a typical hotel version. I’d caution using suite 10 for more than two people. The sleeper was what you’d expect a sleeper to be - not comfortable! The bed is amazing though. „This space was exactly as described, and right on Lake Michigan. Everything in the home was clean, in great shape, and comfortable. There's a bit of a drop to the lake, but the stairs that seem to be newly installed are sturdy and easy. Internet speed was good and the outdoor space was wonderful. A bit secluded from the main road, which once you know the driveway, is very nice. “

„We loved our winter stay in this cute, cozy cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. There was ample room for our family of 4, were able to hike in Van Buren State Park and along Lake Michigan from the cabin and were still minutes from town to go in for dinner. We were looking for a cabin in the woods with snow, and this delivered. We will be back to this cabin in the summer or fall to experience different ...

„We spent the weekend with a group of 10 friends in the winter. The house couldn't be cozier, and the hot tub was amazing in the snow. We will be back!“

„Planned a trip for my family post-Christmas to just get away, and had a GREAT time. This location is perfect -- it's close enough to walk to ALL the shops and restaurants downtown ( 5 min walk), but far enough that there's not the noise or the street traffic. The house itself was charming and we LOVED the Bose sound system. We appreciated the little touches, like the board games in the closet, well stocked coffee supplies, etc. Will definitely be back! “

„This was a 4 day getaway to relax. While there is no water view from the property, a short walk and some steps led us to the perfect semiprivate beach. There were umbrellas, chairs and 2 kayaks available to use. Despite it being mid September, the water was swimmable and the temps were high 80s.
