We stayed in apartment- and ate at pub in Portinscale only a 15 minute walk into Keswick lovely walk. Apartment clean , everything you need . The building is Victorian, plenty of room in apartment set in lovely grounds. It is dated, and the hall entrance could do with repainting and new carpets to make it more inviting for guests. „Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. „This is a great apartment - it has a great location within 5 minutes walk of the centre of Keswick super handy access to Booths Supermarket and great views to the North looking at Skidaw and its approaches. Inside it is comfortable and has everything that you need for your stay - all kitchen and laundry is as expected and bed linen plus bath and hand towels were provided for each guest. Will absolutely stay again.“

„Lovely welcome at Reception and staff very helpful during stay. Bar and restaurant atmosphere warm, nicely decorated, and food and drinks service very good. "Außenanlagen, äußeres Erscheinungsbild sehr gepflegt, sehr schönes, viktorianischesGebäude. Fenster nur minimal zu öffnen, Aussicht auf Mülltonnen, Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Abendessen, 3- Gang- Menu akzeptabel, aber Preis- Leistungs - Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Die oben angeführten Kritikpunkte werden wahrscheinlich relativiert bei schönem Wetter durch die landschaftlich herrliche Umgebung und die damit verbundenen vielfältigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt im August leider das Pech wegen des extrem schlechten Wetters - ca 14 Grad, Regen und starkem Wind- praktisch nichts im Freien unternehmen zu können. "Unsere Erfahrung war leider furchtbar. Wir mussten 2 Nächte dort verbringen. Das 3. Bett war eine Campingliege. Furchtbar unbequem. Keine Matratze, das war meiner Meinung nach nur ein Matratzenschoner. Die Dusche hatte zuerst nur kaltes Wasser, nach unzähligen Gängen zur Rezeption hat man dann geschafft, das zu reparieren. Allerdings war die Dusche kaputt, es stand eine Schraube offen heraus, Verletzungsgefahr. Die Heizung im Bad ging nicht. Die Rezeption meinte dazu: Die muss gehen. Der Fernseher war kaputt, das Deckenlicht hat geflackert. Die Musik war Abends so laut, dass das Bett vibriert hat. Wir saßen gefühlt mit an der Bar. Wir waren in Zimmer 1. So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Nie wieder! "
