„We loved this cozy, romantic cottage. It is clean, comfortable and well stocked. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Soft towels and wash cloths were appreciated. No laundry on site but not an issue for our short stay. Great value!“

„A spectacular place. Walking in it was “Wow, just wow “. The views to Matapouri Bay and Poor Knights were mesmerizing, the bird life (think intoxicated Kereru) entertaining and the accomodations 5 star hotel level. The Aroha suite was huge and had floor to ceiling glass doors that opened to the amazing outdoors. Julianne was a delightful and gracious host. We could not have asked for a better stay and wished we could have atayed longer“

„There are only two units in this facility and the parking is on the side of the hill, straddling the garage. This was a rather precarious situation and, in my opinion, barely qualified as "on-site" parking.“

In the past, we had stayed in several separate locations but being able to book a beautiful home in a beautiful locale that was able to accommodate 16 (yes.... 16) of us..... it simply ticked all the boxes. Ranging in age from 6 to 78 and with a bunch of younger and older teens, having the two houses separated by a very comfortable outdoor fire pit area just worked. Well-equipped home with everything you could need- lovely linen on the beds for a great sleep, warm outdoor shower, rooftop spa, lots of deck areas with plenty of sun and shade zones, beautiful gardens and lots of bird life. The secluded beach is a short stroll down the garden path. Great communication from the host. We had a truly relaxing week away here. Would love to stay again!“

"Es war modern und sauber. Wir hatten das behindertengerechte Apartement, was wir eigentlich nicht brauchten. Dafür war es das einzige mit einer abgetrennten eigenen Terasse. Leider waren uns die Betten viel zu hart - andere mögen das evtl. 2 große Einkaufsmärkte sind in der Nähe und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen."

"Such a nice place! Very new, clean and spacious room. Absolutely loved the warming lights in the bathroom! The reception lady was very sweet and kind, she handed out fresh milk for tea and coffee, and even left some chocolates on Christmas eve. It was a very welcome stay after a long road trip. "
