„This was an amazing vacation retreat. The cabin was incredible with its warm woodwork throughout and was beautifully decorated with antiques, lending to the ambiance of a true cabin in the woods. It only gets better when you step outside and take in the stunning view of the lake and secluded landscape from the big wrap-around covered porch. „We stayed at the Rusted Barn due to proximity to our desired boat ramp for spoonbill season at the Ozarks. Everything was adequate and ready for our arrival. The only issue (minor) we encountered was the beds were all super squeaky! If you're a light sleeper, be ready. We would still stay here again and it still rated 5 stars. The cookies on arrival were great!“

„It is very quit and out in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by beautiful lakes, It was perfect. When you live in a city sometimes you just want to get away from everything.“

Not only do we feel like the host went above and beyond the cabin was super clean and cute, they have thought of everything one might need for a stay here. So quiet and peaceful! Wonderful place to be to get away from every day life for awhile and relax. Will certainly return in the future!“

„This property was good for the price and for our needs since we spent most of our time on the lake. We also appreciate the ability to bring our 2 dogs without their being weight restrictions. The only "issue" we had was with a neighboring dog that was allowed to roam free and wouldn't leave our dogs alone. One of our dogs doesn't love other dogs so this was a problem but obviously not the property owners fault. Just something to be aware of when booking. The wifi service was spotty at best so ...
