„Views from the porch of the Mogollon rim and surrounding area are stunning. A short walk down the road are hiking trails and the Tonto National forest. Many other hiking trailheads in the area are a short drive away. The nearby East Verde River is very scenic. We enjoyed sitting around the nice fire pit almost every night. Kitchen has all the necessities and more and the propane BBQ grill was great to cook steaks.“

„We had a great time here! Views are beautiful and the cabin warmed up fast! Nice scenic drive from payson to the cabin. Only thing to note is that the listing claims 3 beds and a pullout couch but there were only 2 beds and the pullout. There were 7 of us with 2 in each bed and one on the upstairs couch(not a pullout). Still, everyone slept comfortably and had a great time, so I can’t complain :) “

„Quiet and private with great views. I walk my dog to the top of the mountain (trail off the driveway). He loves to sniff the elk scent and I enjoy the mountain and rim views. We did see a coyote. The master is comfortable, the second bedroom is a loft. Good hosts and we are up to our 6th visit.“
