„Schöne, grosse Zimmer, aber sehr bescheidene, fast spartanische Einrichtung. Z.B. keine WC-Bürste(!!!!), kein Kleenex, keine Hygienebeutel, kein body lotion, kein Schrank für Kleider etc. Zimmerservice nur auf Verlangen. Restaurant: gute Auswahl, schön, gepflegt. Steak medium rare bestellt, well done erhalten(!!!). “

„Initially booked into room 7 ( annex) . Hadn't fully appreciated the access issues / stairs / downstairs toilet/ wardrobe. Staff were brilliant and moved to room 15 inside hotel immediately. Friendly staff , great food and only 1.5 miles from Whitby . ( Although Park and Ride does not start until Spring) . Would certainly book again .“

„Overall pleasant stay, presented well and clean. Amazing breakfast with friendly staff. Room was generous size. Our main complaints are the floodlight shining through the window all night with thin curtains, speaker in the ceiling downstairs that hasn’t been soundproofed so there’s fairly loud music playing when trying to sleep and lack of decent shower that’s also nearly impossible to set at a consistent temperature. „Excellent stay. Really nice, large bedroom with excellent views. Generally very comfortable although mattress a little hard for my liking but that is a personal thing. Hotel had plenty of public space with 2 bars and plenty of loung areas as well as a comfortable dining room. Food excellent and good value. I am sure we will be back“
