Combine this with the unit’s unbeatable downtown location just off the Whitefish River, and you get an incredible combination of value and convenience!

This unit is located just two blocks from downtown Whitefish and all the amenities, shops, restaurants, and public transportation the town has to offer. Guests can book with confidence knowing that a convenient location will afford more time to experience their vacation while reducing the amount of time required to plan it. With so many things to do in close vicinity, this vacation will be one to remember!

A four-block walk will take you to the S.N.O.W. Bus shuttle stop where you can catch free rides up to Whitefish Mountain Resort. Whether you’re planning to ski, hike, or mountain bike, be sure to check the shuttle schedule as it varies by season.

The condo is located adjacent to the Kay Beller City Park which provides convenient access to the Whitefish River. Bring your preferred water vessel, put-in, and paddle up to Whitefish Lake or take a half-mile walk to the City Beach via the gorgeous riverside pedestrian trail.

A stay at the property will also save the expense and hassle of finding safe and reliable transportation if you opt to have a night out on the town. At the Meadowlark Loft, the bustling Whitefish nightlife is just a few blocks away! Glacier Getaways politely requests that all guests show respect to our home and the neighboring units and leave the party downtown.

If you plan to hit the links, Whitefish Lake Golf Course is located one mile to the west. If you want to explore the outdoors, world renowned Glacier National Park is just a 45 minute drive from your front door.

The Space:

Enter through a coded access door and walk up a single flight of stairs or use the elevator to arrive at this second-story unit. Once inside the unit, an entry hall gives access to a coat closet and a stackable washer and dryer on opposite sides of the hallway. Just beyond the laundry area, guests will find a spacious full bathroom with tile flooring, a farmhouse style sink, and a tub/shower combo. Before the hallway opens up to reveal the great room, a half-flight of stairs grants access to the loft-style queen bedroom. Elegant furnishings and a modern design give this space a feeling of cozy romanticism. The room also includes a television if guests opt for a movie night in bed.

The great room includes a fully stocked kitchen, a dining area, and a living area with furnishings that bridge the gap between comfort and style. The living area includes a comfort queen sleeper sofa with no bars and an actual top-of-the-line mattress. Large windows and a sliding door that gives access to the private patio make this space feel serene.

The patio area features views of the mountains and river. It also includes a barbeque for those looking to grill and provides a fantastic environment to enjoy your favorite beverage on a warm summer day.

The condo has a dedicated off-street heated uncovered parking spot for guests. The condo complex also offers a ski locker on the first floor.

Wonderful Whitefish activity hub
Perfect location for summer fun. My family of four arrived to the clean and well appointed loft and were immediately able to get on swimsuits and head to the city beach, after which we walked the river parks to downtown and had fabulous dinner, then finished the night enjoying the games and balcony at the property. Next morning had a quick breakfast and tasty lattes from the Nespresso machine in the unit, and headed to Glacier for a day of fun, borrowing the supplied cooler and bear spray from the closet. Everything we needed for a long weekend trip, comfortable, charming, will stay again!

Convenient Stay for Family’s First Snowboarding Adventure!
We took the Amtrak from Portland, OR, to this lovely town for Spring Break the last week of March. The free SNOW bus was still running so there was no need for a rental car to get around town or up to the slopes. (Whitefish is an excellent place for first time skiers and snowboarders since they have cheap lessons, rentals, and optional lower lifts for beginners.) This VRBO property was exactly as advertised! About a 12 minute walk from the train station—7 minutes from a few different SNOW bus stops—and an easy 20 minute walk to Safeway if we didn’t want to wait for the free bus (it’s only operational December through early April). There were so many fun restaurants, cafes, and stores to stroll to! Here come some recommendations: We loved Boudoir Bar & Cafe for gelato; Jersey Boys Pizzeria has awesome pizza & sandwiches; there was an excellent thrift store we found some gems in; and Bookworks is a wonderful bookstore! The condo was had plenty of linens, storage for dry goods, full size refrigerator, great appliances, board games and books, and two TVs. The parents slept on the pullout sofa in the living room while the kids (ages 10 and 12) slept on the bed in the loft. The blinds blocked out the morning sun well, so we were able to sleep in. FYI, the loft has three stairs leading up to it and there is no door or lighted steps, so super young or elderly might have some troubles, especially in the middle of the night. We didn’t have any issues. A+ place! Recommended!

Perfect space for a longer stay
We stayed here for a week in July and we would stay again. The location was great for walking anywhere in town, and driving to Glacier. The condo was spotless, had a well equipped kitchen, great washer/dryer, comfortable and bright. Be aware there is street/car noise if windows are open. Bed is a queen but comfy. Contact with property manager was prompt and helpful. Overall I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely perfect
This was a great place to serve as our base of operations for a Glacier National Park adventure. It was clean, comfortable and modern. It was more than big enough for our family of four. The kitchen had everything we needed, although when you are this close to downtown, you won’t need to cook very much. Our kids loved playing in the nearby park, and the adults enjoyed the balcony. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Safe Haven condo in Whitefish
We would definitely stay here again. This place was a fine choice for our first visit to Montana. While Whitefish is miles from other closer options to GNP, the Meadowlark offered upscale amenities in a georgous private setting within walking distance to the beach, downtown, and the Whitefish trail system. We spent much of our time away from Whitefish, playing on lakes, site seeing, and hiking in GNP during our stay except for the overnights and a few long mornings there, but overall a wonderful place to spend our 30 year anniversary. The hosts were very polite, prompt in their communication and accommodating to all our needs. The hosts made great reminder signage and information inside the space to help us understand their expectations. Private parking, lovely kitchen extras, games, HDTV, soft bedding, private laundry facilities in our condo, and all the other provisions made for a little bit of everything we wanted or needed. The only negative feedback we have is this: there was an easy-to-miss cleaning mishap we had, perhaps the previous visitor, related to the sofa sleeper, however we were given options to deal with it, but the place was otherwise immaculate. Also, we don't do a whole lot of VRBO travel but this is the first where we were asked to do dishes and laundry on our exit - yet this may be the norm. There were the high fees/costs you can see on the bill that would be thought cover this, but...you pay for what you get so still a win/win! Overall 5 star!!
